Nearly 8mths post Surgery

WORTH IT$6,100
Has it really been 5mths since I last popped in? Well...my son turned 4 the day we learned we would miscarry #3. That hurt more than I realized.

Its been over 7mths since my surgery. I look so natural I forget my boobs are fake! They are soft and bounce and look amazing. I'll have to get current pictures soon.
Here are the incisions now. Standing upright they are very faded. Oh yes. They look amazing!

SURPRISE!!

So I'm now nearly 8wks post surgery. Doctor already took my final pictures. No swelling since about the 3rd week. I healed fast despite the skin reaction rashes I dealt with.
Well I guess you could say these new boobies ROCK! Hubby loves them...too much. As in we've enjoyed lots of to be time.
Surprise! Guess what?? We are PREGNANT! I'm in full on panic mode. We were done with kids. Have two toddlers. Mommy got new boobies to look like a woman again and now...Little Baby Oopsie will be here late summer. OMG I think I may have a heart attack. Hubby on the other hand is excited. Mommy is panicked over her boobies.

I'm gonna live in this compression bra for the rest of the foreseeable future! Hold these babies in and hope like crazy for no drifting, sagging, or Snoopy look. Ugh.

Anyone else get preggers right after implants and have info for what happened after baby? We just found out today so surgeon is getting a call on Monday!

Congrats! I've heard people say that they liked their implants more after having children, that they look more natural. I have mine scheduled 4 weeks from today, and I am a stay at home mom with a 2 and 4 year old at home... wondering if you have any tips for me? I'm getting so anxious about being alone with them, especially my energetic 2 year old!
My oldest will be 4 in February and my youngest will be 3 before the baby is born. My hands will be full! I would say prep all you can before. I was also the stay at home mom with same aged kids. We put milk in a large container 3gal at a time so I just pushed the lever to fill a cup. You can't pick them up for a few weeks. Seriously don't try till all pains are gone-about 4wks. I strained myself trying to be super mom. Have everything down low, and try to have at least a week with someone else to handle kids-its impossible. If they are super active like mine, their energy will outlast yours in 10min and pain will overtake you from trying too hard. My sister was here for 5 days, but I really needed her at least 2 more days, then I was fine alone with kids. Driving was so hard! Do as little as you can. Don't clean. Don't demand kids to keep up where you can't, getting upset just makes you hurt worse. Point out your "ouchies" and surprisingly your tots will understand and not hurt them. When they get too close, act really sad and say ouch. My boys were quick to back up and want to put bandaid on me. They seemed to understand alot more than I gave them credit for.
Great advice, thank you! I love the milk idea, hadn't thought of that one. Congrats again!!
WOW....I guess 2 congratulations are due : 1 for the Baby and secondly for the beautiful new breasts .
Thank you! I think my shock is wearing off today and I'm much happier (we wanted 3 kids but stopped after 2). Baby Oopsie is a total surprise but a good one. Will keep everyone updated on the boobies and changes so anyone else who's in this position has a clue what to expect. I'm worried because my twins are so new and the thought of them stretching scares me for the incision area underneath. Checking in with docs Monday to see what precautions I need to deal with. Wish me luck!
Thank you!
Sadly, on my son's 4th birthday we learned we would miscarry. At 13wks I did indeed miscarry but was rushed to the hospital after mass blood loss, two units of blood tranfused and 2 days in the hospital. Still required a dnc. Sucked massively.

So now, 9mths post operation, I look fabulous boob wise, though being 4wks from the due date makes my flat stomach quite sad.

5wks No Rash!

So I called the doc and got nothing. No follow up was scheduled. Nurse just said wait it out. Since I'd dealt with rashes from day one due to reactions to medications and tape, I had already waited it out-in my opinion.
My youngest used to get major diaper rashes and no creams helped. His doctor prescribed a steroid rash cream and it worked like a charm. LIGHTBULB MOMENT! I yanked out that little tube of miracle butt cream and put a thin layer over my rash. By day 3 it was totally gone! So happy you have no idea. Because it was a prescription steroid I followed directions close, only twice a day max. I'm such a tickled pink woman now at week 5.
Once the rash was gone, I started using a scar cream (Invicible) and after a week I can see a difference. The lines have smoothed suddenly. After the rash and scratching (I couldn't not scratch) the scar was looking ragid-not now. Will see how the scar fades and how the cream works. I can tell you it absorbs really fast and leaves no residue. Maderma was sticky and left a residue on me and clothing no matter how long I waited for it to dry. Ugh.
