Had my surgery on August 27th. Feeling good. Haven't had much pain. I stopped taking the pain medicine on the morning of the 29th. It was making me dizzy and headachy. I've been on an emotional roller coaster. I feel like I should have gone bigger. I'm sad that I didn't. I did this for me and shouldn't have let my husbands opinion matter so much. I stuck with the 440 cc under the muscle. I go tomorrow for my first post op appointment. I haven't had any bleeding or leaking from my
Incision. My right breast is tighter than my left. I was told I could
Take Advil to help with the discomfort. Good luck to all the ladies who are still waiting for BA.

FYI, I am similar in size to you (5'4" and 142lbs here)....I got 397cc Mod+ unders, and went from a small 34B to a 34D. So, you should hit that "D" mark, no problem!! I wish I went a little bigger too; 421cc, or even 457cc. Oh well!
Thanks for the incouraging words. It helps a lot. I didn't know I would get so many emotions over this. At least I have some boobs now right?!? LOL

I had a consult with DR. Kaye Riolo yesterday. She is amazing. So personable and open. She went over everything and answered all my questions. My husband went with me, since I really wanted his input about what he though of the doctor. He felt the same way as me. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Previous to seeing Dr. Riolo I went to Athenix for the free consult. The Athenix people were nice as well. The down side was not being able to speak with the doctor until the pre-op appointment.
I was able to try on several sizes with a light weight sports bra. I originally picked to go with the 400CC gummy silicone but changed my mind when Dr. Riolo came back in and we talked more. I felt the 400cc was a little smaller than I wanted. I am 5'4", 138 and athletic. I decided to go with the 440cc's which should give me a small D cup. I'm so excited. I can't wait to have the surgery. My pre-op appointment is next week.
I plan to post pictures of the before and after. I just haven't got the courage to that the before pictures yet. :)
Side note: My husband insisted that I get the gummy implants over the regular silicone. It was a bit more expensive but he did research on them and felt it was the better investment. I agreed.

Glad you continued your research and found a doctor you like to perform your surgery. It's nice that your husband is helping with the details of your research too. Feel free to join the August 2015 breast augmentation surgery forum to see if you can find a surgery buddy. Looking forward to your pictures and your updates!
Just wondering... Why did u decide to go with the gummy vs regular silicone? ( im looking into silicone now) And what did u do to research? Tks :)
