So Excited to See my New Skin!

I am now on day 4 after my fraxel dual laser treatment. It did sting a little but not really bad. Days 1 and 2 my face was red and blotchy and felt hot. Day 3 it started to peel, and now on Day 4 it is really peeling quite a lot. (I was warned NOT to touch my face except to wash and apply products, which I am doing). Also still red and blotchy but the hot feeling is over with. My dermatologist recommended me to start with the Alastin pre- treat and aftercare kit two weeks before my laser, to prepare my skin. I'm washing my face 3 times a day with Alastin gentle cleanser, followed by the serum, hydrating lotion, and sunscreen. The Alastin products feel so luxurious, soothing, and gentle. I can tell it is helping my skin heal. I was also given STRICT orders to stay out of the sun for at least 10 days post procedure. After that I can go outdoors, using plenty of sunscreen and a broad brim hat. My dermatologist actually said stay indoors and don't even sit by a sunny window! While the new, delicate skin is coming out it is VERY sensitive and vulnerable to sunlight. I am slathering on great heaps of sunscreen let me tell you!
On a couple of small places I am beginning to see the smooth pink skin coming through. I feel confident that my laser treatment went well and that my results will be good.
