Dr. Groff is the Best and His Treatments Really Work

Dr. Groff is an amazing dermatologist. I went to many clinics over a lot of years to find someone who would treat my melasma and hyperpigmentation-only one succeeded in effectively removing and otherwise diminishing it all of its effects to a not even noticeable level. I first discovered Dr. Groff on Real Self. I looked at his patients and some his work. I was really impressed that he was able to treat sun damage (the condition I was specifically dealing with) with only a few treatments and, whereas other clinics had recommended non-stop extremely expensive and shallow lasers with minimal results, Groff recommended Fraxel and a combo of other lasers to fully remove the sun damage. I immediately called up and went for a visit.

The clinic Dr. Groff works at is state of the art. The machines are the latest in the industry including the Fraxel Dual, Alexandrite, and Vbeams just to name a few. The dermatologists are highly skilled in their area of expertise, having treated all sorts of skin types and received numerous awards. But what I liked about Dr. Groff is that he was friendly, courteous, practical when he spoke about the results including downtime and levels of improvement and his assistant named Carrie was willing to discuss payment options with me. I have never been so impressed (and I have been to a lot of clinics) with how a Cosmetic Laser Dermatology and Dr. Groff have treated me.

So far I have done 3 Fraxel treatments with other lasers. The results are tremendous. Most of the pigmentation is gone (keep in mind I probably visited about 5-10 other dermatology clinics over the years) and what's left is minor residual pigmentation. My skin looks fresh, renewed, and clean. My complexion is a lot more consistent, and I can finally look my best after many years of struggling to find the right treatment.

Some of the major highlights from my experience are being able to afford multiple treatments at reasonable prices, a follow up and pre-treatment phone call to discuss the treatment plan, expert advice, and proper after care instructions. I always follow what is recommended including cleansing and moisturizing and my skin comes out flawless. Dr. Groff also shares what he knows about the laser and what can be done including what condition it is typically used for like sun damage and he talks to you softly through the procedure so you feel comfortable with the experience. He provides insights on products, how to care for your skin long term, and what would be ideal treatments to effectively resolve the issue in the fewest number of treatments. I cannot thank Dr. Groff enough for what he has done for me. After 30 some odd years of struggling to find treatment and repair the melasma on my face, I feel blessed to have crossed paths with probably one of the best dermatologists in California if not the country. Very thankful to continue being a regular customer of his and Cosmetic Laser Dermatology where he works.
