I'm 46 years old waited so long to fix my ugly nose. Low self steam that needs to be mended soon.
After dreaming for so long, I finally pushed myself to have the surgery. I was bullied since I was 15 years old, by kids and adults. I inherited my mother's nose long skinny and with a hump. Looking like a witch or a bird's nose.
Let me tell you I'm working on loving myself again is not easy but never impossible.

Way to go! This will be a huge confidence boost for you. This quote came to my mind after I read your review: "To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself.” ~Thich Nhat Hanh

Keep you head held high, you're beautiful -- now go show the world what you got! And be sure to update us on how you're doing! :)

I am in my 50's and considering a nose job. I have a huge nose and it is bulbous and, with age, the tip looks awful. I saw a PS for Dysport and he actually mentioned my nose to me! *sigh* I started wondering if it would be worth it at my age to do it. Yesterday, I had a consultation with him and he told me what he would do and that he didn't need to break the nose, just remove excess cartridge. He said I would look so much better. So I am strongly considering it but so scared of complications. Also wondering it if is worth it at my older age. This has inspired to truly consider doing it. It would boost my confidence so much and you don't have to be 20 or 30 to do it. Hope you heal well and learn to love yourself as we all should. I try but then I look in the mirror and ugh. All i see is my big nose!

Hi is never too late my mom did it at age 65 she looks amazing! Make sure to get two different doctors consultations. I did and I like my second doctor. Best wishes and keep us posted.

Any doctor who comments on a feature you're not visiting him about doesn't deserve your business. I hate that they feed off of our insecurities! I agree with soraya...please consult with another doctor to confirm your choice.

My nose still swollen, I been getting shots for the swelling. Well I'm still trying to adjust with my new nose, is taking a long time. I'm gaining back all my feelings under the tip which is fabulous.
I'm able to use a straw now and with time and patience I will learn to love my nose.

You’re beautiful! Your new nose suits you perfectly. Doesn’t look like you had work which is a huge compliment to your surgeon. I just had a consultation locally today for rhinoplasty here in PA, but honestly, I would consider coming to TN to see your surgeon! Warmest wishes to you. I hope you’re loving the skin you’re in :)

Why do you like it? I’m wondering if there is something the doc did you didn’t expect or...? Just curious where things went astray.

What do you mean? I thought she was happy with her result.

She said with patience she will learn to love her nose. That statement makes it seem like she doesn’t currently. Just how it read to me.
