WORTH IT
I was so nervous about this procedure. If the med spa where I purchased them from had offered refunds, I’d have gone that route. But they don’t, so yesterday, I went in for the treatment. I am 48, and looking to improve skin texture —-particularly where I have acne scars
— and volume. Also, fine lines and redness from mild rosacea and broken capillaries. I am a nut about my skin, and take very good care of it.

I numbed for over an hour. And though the procedure wasn’t my favorite thing in the whole
wide world, the pain was tolerable. My skin was red and puffy afterwards, and my face was hot for a few hours.

A day later, I can see “striping” and tiny scabs forming. But I didn’t — and don’t— look nearly as bad as I feared. I was able to put on Oxigenetics foundation and be out and about without feeling too self-conscious. My only
bummer is that I have been advised not to exercise until Sunday, and I’m training for a race.

Well, things are getting worse, but apparently that’s normal. My face is super itchy, and red, swollen, and mottled. Using Aquaphor at night and using makeup during the day. This treatment is advertised as requiring”minimal downtime,.” Perhaps that’s relative to CO2?
