WORTH IT$9,800
Im 40 years old and have had five children. Ranging from 22 years old down to 9 months old. I am 5 feet 3 inches tall and way 160 pounds. I would have liked to have lost a little more before my procedure. But I'll be happy with the 25 I've already lost. I will be getting full TT with liposuction (smartlipo) to the flanks and also inner thighs. My cost includes an overnight stay and a pain pump. I'm very excited, but also getting nervous. My procedure is 10 days away.

Doesn't Even Seem Real!!

Today I tugged and pulled...and sucked in to try and see what I might actually look like! I cant wrap my head around it!! Im expecting great results, but also think I'm pretty good at being realistic. Lets hope so!! I know that mind set has so much to do with recovery! So I'm trying to beas mentally prepared as possible. Reading everyones experiences is helping a lot!!

Sounds like your TT is the day before mine! I'm having lipo as well- we'll have to check in and you can let me know what lies ahead in the coming day ;) I'm super nervous as well, but it seems to be pretty normal from what I can tell from everyone else's stories. Good luck! And I'm excited to see photos of your results!

The nervous is good, becuz you are doing something exciting & great just for U. Make sure u have all things for recovery, my best tip received was rent a medical recliner & purchased a walker. The only pain I've had was 'back pain' for the first 8 days. I'm 12 days post & feeling great. Very little swelling.
Good luck & enjoy

One week away and my mind is reeling!!!

Today I spent time getting things in order for Christmas, paying bills and spent a bit of time in front of the mirror pulling and tugging on what I think I will look like post-op! I re-read all of my packet from the PS. I think Im as prepared as I can be. Tho Im pretty sure there is quite a bit that you cant totally prepare for....the mental things. But Im trying! I believe Im pretty strong mentally....I'll know for sure after this won't I? I think my biggest fear right now is that my family wont realize the help I will need until its time. They are SOOO supportive. But I think its easy to be verbally supportive. And I'm not sure they "get it". Like a lot of women, I do ALOT around here. In fact, it really brings me joy. So it'll be hard for all of us during my recovery. I'm hoping to be back at work 3 weeks post-op. Im my own boss, so there is definitely room for more if I need it. But if Im not working...I make no money. So that pressure will of course be there. But for now...I'm just gonna take it all in....breathe deep...and go for it! After all, it took me years to convince myself that Ive earned this...now I believe it in my core. Looking forward to the Flat Side!!

I am super nervous too-mine is Jan 14-I am about to change my mind-all he the pictures and everything looks very scary. I have to have hernia surgery at the same time and they have to put mesh in me to hold the hernia back in back , It is an intestinal hernia and they suggested I have a tt because I will have loose skin there after they push the hernia back in place.

The day prior i looked at several photos of those who were blogging the journey, and felt like the scars meant endurance of pain. I had controlled pain for 2 days only, and it is not memorable. The worst pain was when had 2 coughs and a sneeze. Again, the scar detail makes it look unbearable. Go for it, we can all say, it's no worse than having babies, you will feel happy after you see the "new" you. Do expect back pain, due to being "hunched"/bent over for some time. I still have my pain meds---it wasn't extreme so i didn't take them.
