It's been a while since I've been on here....but honestly it's just because of the holidays. My surgery went fantastic. I start back to work this week and I'm so ready!!! Drains are out and I start scar therapy this next Thursday. Not even sure what all that includes or what exactly to expect, but I just completely trust my Dr and I just show up when he tells me to. The results I got are far above my expectations. I'm still in awe and wake up every day so thankful that I was able to to have this done. Sometimes the thankfulness just overwhelms me to the point of tears. Thankful for less pain than I anticipated, thankful for my entire supportive family, thankful for the people in my life that are genuinely happy for me, thankful for a way to actually save up the cash to do such an amazing thing....and thankful for a Doctor that is so phenomenal.

your tummy looks great. How is dealing with the tubes? How are sleeping? Bed or recliner?

amazing, happy for you. Your Doc did great. I feel like i am still dreaming as well. Just continue to get through the next few days/weeks. My back stopped hurting just prior to week 3. Friday was 4 weeks. I am almost straightening up, still some pull and i have to accommodate.

I woke up today and my first thought was, (how many more days until my TT?) HAHA!!!! It was already done!! I feel 10 times better than I expected. But im sure it the pain pump (numbing medicine, not narcotics) I am still in pain, but not much. I get to keep the pump until saturday:) Dr. Rumalla is amazing. He was able to remove!!! Skin and fat from 2" above my belly button!!!

Hi!!! Im doing 10 times better than I expected. Im sore all over. But when I sit still, I have no pain at all. Im not sure if your Dr is giving you a. Pain pump, but I HIGHLY reccomend it!! Its not pain medicine like morphine or anything. Its numbing medicine. I get to keep it inside for the first 72 hours. Also I totally get the "back pain" thing!! Its pretty bad. But my grandmother had a walker and it helped a TON!!! I'll keep you posted! I go see my dr tomorrow (saturday) for him to re-bandage. Im allergic to adhesives...so im stitches, gauze and binder. Thats it:/
