After having the Gastric Sleeve on 9/25/14 I lost 75 lbs (from 217 to 135). I already had a sagging stomach and sagging breasts due to pregnancy and they just got worse with weight-loss. I was loving the transformation from the weight-loss and I just knew that a mommy makeover would complete my transformation. I went in on 9/18/15 for my procedure. I had an overnight stay in the hospital. When I woke up from my surgery I didn't feel much pain, just soreness. I felt as if I had done 2000 crunches. I didn't feel any pain from my best lift. I went from a 36 DDD to a 36 C. I had a pain pump for about 4 days post op. I highly recommend the pain pump. I took off 2 full weeks from work and worked remotely the 3rd week. I didn't start getting my energy back until about the middle of the 4th week. I'm wearing a binder and a girdle. The binder is to protect the muscle repair and the girdle is for swelling. I'm hoping to be out of both in the next 3 weeks. I'm still having swelling but not much. Will post pics at a later date.

Congratulations on your MM! I just had mine done 10/22. Thank GOODNESS for that pain pump! I too had gastric bypass back in 2004 and lost 215 lbs. I had to have this surgery to look even halfway normal. I mean what do you do with all that extra skin and fat that is left over that exercise and dieting doesn't take away? They removed 4.5 lbs of skin from my tummy. I still have a long way to go (lipo, maybe a bbl), but I'm grateful I was able to keep the weight off all these years so I could have this surgery. Best wishes for a Happy Healing!

He's great! You will love him, his staff and most importantly the outcome! I was also nervous but the recovery was better than expected. It's best to prepare for the worst but expect the best. :) As for prepping I was instructed to take vitamin c, iron (my levels were low) and my multi vitamin daily. I stopped drinking alcohol 2 weeks prior to surgery. I worked out religiously till 2 days before surgery. I wanted my body to be strong for an easier recovery. I did Zumba and Body Pump (I alternated days). I will post pics as soon as I can. I'm excited for you! It's definitely life changing in a positive way! Good luck on your surgery and please keep me updated and don't hesitate to ask me questions after the surgery if you need to. :) Can't wait to see your results!
