Like most of you, this is something I battled for many years. My outfits consisted of a black shirt or a colored shirt with a jacket over. When asked by others why I had a jacket on, I'd simply reply "I'm always cold"... which was a lie of course. I always carried body spray and deodorant in my purse to cover up the smell.

I came across miraDry while researching Botox. After lots of hours reading reviews and weighing the pros and cons from others, I decided to do it. By the way - thank you to everyone who took the time to write reviews and follow ups. I found a local dermatologist office that offered miraDry and scheduled a consultation. After speaking with the ladies there I scheduled my first procedure.

I mixed up the appointment time and was 30 minutes late, luckily the woman still allowed me to have the treatment. I was nervous about the needles however once the numbing agent kicked in I was pretty much pain free. My dermatologist recommended level 5 to get the best results. There were 2 spots in my right armpit that I felt a little pain but it was very minimal and tolerable. From start to finish it took about an hour and half.

I am 5 hours post treatment and very swollen with some pain. Currently icing every 20 minutes and have taken a couple of Ibuprofen. I have a ball under each arm that's a little larger than a golf ball but that's normal from what my doctor explained. Just going to take it easy and pray for a quick recovery.

I'll update this post in a couple days with more information.

The pain was the worst on day 2, but was still very mild. The swelling was the worst on day 2 and 3, and most of that was gone by day 7. I'm now 13 days post-treatment and I've been loving it! I still have a little pain which feels like very light bruising under my arms, but definitely worth the money.

VERY happy with the results, day 6 and I'm still DRY! Never thought I'd be able to say that.

I recommend taking at least 1 day off work, if possible two. I spent the entire day of the procedure icing every 20 minutes. That first night was pretty restless with a little pain which is why I'd take 2 days of recovery is needed. By the afternoon of day two I was able to go about my daily activities as normal, minus working out. Swelling until day 3 was uncomfortable but looked worse than it felt. Now on day 6 its completely gone.

This has been one of the best decisions I've every made. I now feel like I can live life without worry of sweat or smell. I still keep checking because this was not something I ever thought would be possible.

I'm so excited for you. Do you think you'll get a second treatment?

As of now, I don't plan on a second treatment. It's been a world of a difference in the past 2 months. I love it!!
