My search for the right doctor is finally over and my lift is finally scheduled!!! Unfortunately, I will HAVE to do two procedures since my nipple needs to be brought up 10 cm. This was not the first consultation where I was told this. It's not ideal but it's the only way I will get the aggressive change that I really desire. Right now I'm a 34D. After the lift, I should be a large B or small C. As for the implants, we talked about a moderately high profile, silicone gummy, under the muscle. I'm still considering a high profile gummy but I'm sure we will play with some options after the lift is done. Here are some pictures as I am now. You can see how the doc lightly drew where he would bring the lift/nipple up to. This is based off of what I asked for and what he thought would end up looking best. Also adding some wish pics!

Thanks for sharing your story. I'm excited for you! Can I ask how long you have to wait between surgeries?

I will have to wait 3 whole months between surgeries. :(

Good luck with everything.. Can I ask why he can't do the lift and the implants in one surgery? Am I missing something here? Your breast look similar to mine and I have not been told this..

Factors such as the health of the tissues, the thinness of the tissues, the difficulty of each procedure, whether they are revisional and what blood supply still exists after prior surgeries, the looseness of the tissues, the health of the patient as a whole, the patient's expectations, etc. all factor in. The big concern with both of the doctors that I saw, is that the nipple will lose blood supply and die, which can happen if too aggressive a surgery is performed. This is a complication that is usually avoidable by staging the surgeries.

Wow.. That is a lot to think about and understand.. Thanks for sharing all that. I will keep that in mind for questions to ask when I go..

Another point my doctor made was that bringing up the nipple more than 4-5 cm, increases that chances of the nipple dying by like 40%, I think he said. Some doctors are willing to take the chance and say that they are just well experienced in doing these types of operations. But if you look up that two doctors that I went and saw, they are the top in Dallas. If they weren't willing to risk it, neither was I. Thats where multiple consultations do help. Good luck on everything and keep me posted on what you decide to do.

Pre-Op appointment!

Hey everyone! Had my pre-op last week and I'm starting to get more and more excited! I was given a list of do's and don't which seem pretty reasonable. We decided to try and go as small as possible for the lift which will be a 34B. That way, when I go back in for the implants in 3 months, I will have a better chance of reaching my goal. I do not want any "boob flap/sagging" when this is all said in done. Have you ever noticed that the post-op pictures we love the most, are of skinny girls who started out with smaller breast??? Well, hopefully starting out with smaller breast will help me reach my goal. Not to mention, I'll be so happy to have smaller nipples!!!

I also added scar revision to my surgery. Looks like Dr. Rumalla will also be able to get rid of my old belly button piercing scar. Thank goodness, cause after my first pregnancy, it was never the same again. Now that I know that my boobs will be looking great, I'm starting to really nit pick other things about my mid section. I've been working out really hard (weight training 3 days a week & running 3 miles a day, 5 days a week) and dieting the best i can, just trying to get my stomach looking tight and toned but my stretch marks just ruin the whole picture anyway. I've tried TCA peels which does help the look of them but they are still very visible! Especially in a bikini! Does anyone know of any other treatments that actually work? And please don't say tummy tuck. The scar from that is not bikini friendly either. posting some more pics from my post-op apt where Rumalla drew on me once again. It was a nice little reminder. :)

First things first, Dr. Ramallah is the best of the best! My breast lift looks phenomenal! He read through all of my mixes signals that I was giving him. I know I was a difficult patient but he promised to do his very best and that what I got. My boobs were originally asymmetrical and my areoles were so big that it caused some difficulty in my lift. In 3 months I'll have implants put in, until that time, I will be enjoying my beautiful lift!
