Capsular contracture :(

Yup. Awful. I was in tears when it was confirmed. When my doc went to examine me, he squeezed me and my boob cracked and popped like a glowstick. That's the only way I can describe it. It hurt like hell. But of course it was soft immediately after. Sore, but soft. Well it's been one week, and I am starting to feel it harden again, even with me massaging it. Bummer... Also I didn't realize what I had done was a closed capsulotomy... Which 99% of doctors here completely disagree with. So... Now I'm back to square one. I may have to deal with one hard boob until I can afford a second surgery... Def going under the muscle next time.

Oh I am so sorry to hear this! Did dr say that you could do anything to stay out of surgery? When he squeezed it was he trying to "undue" the contracture? Did he say that if he goes under it won't happen again?

They said they will just keep seeing me to try to stay on top of things. Not sure if this means squeezing over and over... I hope not.

No, I don't think that will happen to you at all! I just wondered if you are going under bc dr says risk is lower. I have been thinking of doing overs so reading a lot of reviews. Are you in a lot of pain? Has it gotten any better or worse? Wishing you the best

Honestly, my right breast is softer than it was before the squeeze. But still harder than the left. I'm pretty relieved it's not as hard as it used to be though! My friend had overs and hasn't had any issues at all... So ever case is different. But if I had to do it over, I would def go under the muscle.

I'm terribly sorry you have cc. I am surprised your doc squeezed hard enough to break the capsule. Def not recommended by most surgeons. I'm hoping you're able to address it soon. Sending good vibes to you today.

I want to add that I forgot my old account info so this is a NEW ONE, but it's ME. 3 1/2 years later, I am getting an EXPLANT. LADIES, PLEASE DO RESEARCH about breast implant illness. I was like everyone else and had dreamed of getting them in for my entire life, so I always gravitated towards the safe FDA ratings that surgeons always talk about. I didn't take into account all the REAL STORIES of thousands of women who have become sick after implants. Please please PLEASE look into this. I was hospitalized multiple times with fever over 104 and sepsis, and no one could ever find the source of infection. Everyone is different, but my body definitely did not like these things in me. Capsules were the first sign that my body was rejecting these foreign objects inside me. About a week after my implants, I noticed severe brain fog, more like a heavy pressure in my head, 24/7. I thought it was the medicine wearing off. Well, it wasn't. To this day, I have to take preventative medicine to avoid that migraine and pressure. If I could change this entire review, I would. I just hope that some of you ladies will stumble upon this remark and do your research on BII. It is not in your head... it is real and needs to talked about. Do not make the same mistake I did and have to live with guilt and regret for spending money on something that ended up making me too sick to be a good mother, and now have to spend even more money to get them out. Please learn from my mistakes, ladies. IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

I am supposed to get implants soon, but this definitely scares me! How are you feeling now? Did your symptoms all go away when you had them removed? I’m so sorry you had this happen, and I hope and pray that doesn’t happen to me.

Still not 100% happy with the feel

Afraid I may have slight cc ppb the right side. I'm thinking at this point they should both feel the same. I can still feel the ball like implant inside the right one. The left is completely soft and feels natural. Even the look of the right is more ball like at the top. My nurse hasn't emailed me back... Guess I'll have to wait for my check up in a few weeks. But I am not too optimistic at this point :( look great, but all I can think about is how hard it must feel to my husband or wonder if people can tell when I hug them. Bummer...
