ORIGINAL POST
I have been on this site for years, I have always...
WORTH IT$8,000
I have been on this site for years, I have always wanted to have a tummy tuck every since my 1st born. I have 2 boys 14 and 10 years old. My weight is up and down b/c of stress. I am 5ft currently weighing 170 which is way overweight for my height. My goal weight is 140 but I have been wanting to do this for so long I can't wait until I get there. I startedthe cabbage soup diet yesterday so hopefully I will at least be down 10 by surgery time. I have a little over 2 weeks to make it happen. I can't believe I let myself get to this weight I remember dieting when I hit 130 Ibs. I am so excited about having this pouch removed. I love seeing and reading of everyone else's success stories! I had 2 consultations and was so sure I was going to go with my 1st pick but have changed my mind b/c the other surgeon offered more lipo! Lol. Plus it is in my hometown. I won't have to drive 2 hours.

Blessing on your upcoming surgery. Watch your sodium intake and don't over buy things you don't really need because you might not use have the stuff. Ask you Surgeon is he doing a pain blocker as well to ease some of your pain. Take your med around the clock. I am a true believer in pineapple juice and pineapple cut up or frozen to eat or make smoothieshelp with the inflammation. I drink lot of water.

Thank you so much! I will post some post op pics this weekend. It's so amazing! I am very heavy, but like your shape, carried the bulk of it in my stomach and abdomen with small legs and thighs and no butt. I can see even with swelling my curves enhances. Now I hope your exercising and eating well. Don't diet change the way you eat. Try to eat Less processed and fast food and if you do, get kids meals and skip fries. Drink 50 -60 ounces of water and if it's not something REALLY GOOD, just leave sweets alone. It's little things that make a big difference. Try eating a regular diet and maybe change one meal to a green smoothie. U really want to go into surgery healthy. Skinny and healthy are two different things. Take these days to calm down, drinking water an md exercising so you can be prepared for recovery. If your doctor is board certified and has a good record with this, you will love your results. Can't wait to see you on the other side!

How noticeable is your scar? Was the pain worse than a c section?

January 8, 2017
I think my surgeon done good on my scar it is noticeable though but I think in due time it will fade away a little and yes the pain is worse than a c-section but if you had a c-section you will be able to handle it. I have a low tolerance for pain so it really just depends on your pain tolerance in my opinion.

Pre-Op Day
Today is pre-op day and everything is surreal. Wish me luck! I will be on the flat side in 9 days.
Thank you for joining us on your journey. I will be excited to see your results in a couple of weeks. When I am trying to drop a few pounds I always stick to lean protein and vegetables. That is a sure way to shed it!
Are you all set up for recovery at home?
Oh the holiday shopping, the madness of the season:)
Did you check with your doctor about the binder. Some surgeons actually provide you with them. But if not, they each have their own preference of what they like to use. I would start with that before you spend any money on items. It's worth a call or email to the doctors office.
That's ok, maybe you will really love what you ordered. If not Amazon is really good about returns.
