Best lip lift/ lakin lift

If you are considering plastic surgery of any type, it can come with a degree of apprehension. My lip was severely deformed due to prior silicone injections. The granulomas and nodularity in my lips had not only destroyed the aesthetics but also the functionality in regards to speaking, eating and facial expressions.

He is very kind and compassionate. His goal is to correct the imperfection that is causing the patient distress. The day of the surgery he spent time with me in pre op discussing the surgical plan in detail and answering any questions. His positive outlook and gentle whimsical nature had a much needed calmimg effect prior to surgery.

The surgical procedure was multi faceted including a LIP LIFT via vermillion advancement, silicone excision and lip reduction in both upper and lower lip. The lip lift incisions were made precisely along the upper vermillion border following the natural contours of the lip. This method of lip lift allows for a lift along the entire length of the upper lip, shortening of philtrum height and reducing the naso labial angle which lifts the mid face lateral aspect of the lip. The lip reduction was achieved with a hidden incision along the inner aspect of the wet to dry border of the lip. The silicone granulomas were removed delicately in layers keeping the goal of symmetry in mind and lessening the risk of excising native healtjy tissue.

At one month post op the scars are nearly invisible and my lips are aesthetically pleasing with functionality restored.
