How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Proof Read
I can't figure how to go back and edit. Excuse my spelling errors. I'll make sure to proof read next time. :/
Lazy
I've been super lazy about posting. Honestly, life has went on like usual. I've had to find alternative ways of doing somethings. I pick up my daughter, but I first have to get her to climb on the couch. I can only hold her for a minute, but it's totally worth it. To get her in her highchair I kind of do a little swing-pick-up maneuver. It works, and no one is complaining. lol My oldest son (9) unloads the dishwasher for me and carries laundry up the stairs. My youngest son (5) gets to pick up all the floor paraphernalia. Heck, I think we'll keep these new little habits around after I'm all healed up.
My surgical tape is being redone tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing the incision. I'm also going to asking how long I have to wear the binder. It's comfortable, but annoying. I want to show off my small waste! Swelling is down, and I've lost 7lbs since surgery. Not sure if that's fat or water. Either way, I'll take it.
I started my diet today. It doesn't venture far from how I already eat so it's not a big deal. But I'm hoping it gives my body that extra boost to get a few more lbs down before I start working out again. I have amazing fantasies of crossfit. haha It's weird what 2 weeks of inactivity will do to the mind. I'm itching to run, jump, and play!
I haven't experienced crazy amounts of pain. My back got tired and achy from my posture. But I'm almost standing up straight now so the soreness is at a minimal. The incision itches with a slight burn occasionally. My abs were sewn together hardcore. The effort that comes from standing up straight is do to my abs. I love it though. I have my waste back!
All in all I'm doing really well. I'm beyond excited for the things to come! (mostly finding a perfect little black dress)

Tubes Out
I had my second post-op today. My doctor is pleased with my speedy recovery. He was happy to take out my tubes ahead of schedule! Can I just say, that was the weirdest, most wrong feeling ever. BLAH! I thought I was going to throw up. It didn't hurt, but the feeling of it sliding through my stomach, plus it was all bumpy, most wrong feeling ever. Like nails on a chalkboard times 20! I'm certainly glad that's over with.
I still can't stand up straight. Good side, they took a lot of skin. Down side, my back is killing me. I'm going to sleep in my bed for the first time since the surgery tonight. I'm hoping that will help the ol back and neck stiffness.
I'll be done with antibiotics tomorrow morning. Also, I've stopped taking Vicodin. Constipation has been my constant annoying friend the past 5 days. (because of the Vicodin) I bought some extra strength Tylenol so I guess I'll be roughin it with that until my most hated friend goes away.
