I am 31 years old and feel kind of sad to see how rapidly my body has changed between age 26 and 31. While I do look better than most girls my age, I can see the RATE at which I'm aging has accelerated. So I want to make some corrections as I head down this inevitable slope of aging.

These are the procedures I am interested in:
i. Rhinoplasty
ii. Cheek/Midface lift for saggy cheeks
iii.Fat Transfer to temples
iv. Fat Transfer from belly to breasts
v. Fat transfer to hands and feet (this is a big maybe)

In this post, I will talk about fat transfer from the belly to breasts. Although I am quite slim, my fat is concentrated in my belly. Even at 100 lbs, my waist is 30 inches. At 105, it is 33 inches and my pants size increases to size 7.

I would like to have these stubborn fat cells transferred to my breasts. Given how rapidly these cells grow with the slightest weight gain, I'm sure having them in my chest (while having my stomach vacuumed out) would make me look more proportionate.

In the pictures shown below, I am at 102 lbs.

Your wish list is very aggressive. In San Diego we would do an aggressive microlipo from your bottom of your breasts (this alone emphasizes and in reality makes your breasts larger) to your pubis circumferentially. We call this the 360 degree Clinique Sculpture. We would then put micro-droplets of fat in your face, hands and feet and toothpick sized channels of fat into your breases (typically 450-500cc of fat). Only about 50% of the fat survives, but that which does is permanent. Find a board Certified Plastic Surgeon with the most experience you can find. I have been performing fat transfers for over 25 years, but I am still learning, and by meticulous attention to detail and taking the time, amazing permanent changes can be accomplished.

What is the recovery time? I am interested in the procedure but so far away from you. Do you have minimum BMI requirement. My is 20. I was told by some PS that my BMI was too low

Good luck! I too am interested in fat transfer to the breast but I am watching posts on realself to see final results. I have heard in 5-10 years they should have more advancements in fat transfer and they expect the patient to retain more live cells.

While Fat Transfer to the breasts is not for everyone, now about 95% of my practice involves fat transfer to the breasts over breast implants. The advantages are numerous, but include: 1. minimal incisions which are really two canunla entrance sites about 2mm long that heal with an almost invisible scar rather than a 4-5 cm scar, 2. we can put fat into the breast, especially enhancing the upper breast and cleavage, rather than just a ball shaped volume beneath the nipple, creating a much more natural appearing breast, 3. the re-operation rates quoted by the FDA for breast implants are at three and five years are in the thirty and fifty % range, 4. there is no risk of capsular contracture 5. the recovery for the fat transfer part to the fat transfer to the breasts is generally minimal and almost painless, and the bonus of lipo to enhance your shape from the lipo harvesting part of the procedure, and 6 since the set-up and harvesting for the breast fat transfer is already in place, generally additional fat transfers to the face, hands and buttocks, can be accomplished at the same time and at a reduced cost to the patient.

More pictures of how skinny fat I am

People always tell me how lucky I am to be so in shape, fit into everything, look so young, etc. If I tell them that I actually have a fat belly, they think I have an eating disorder or am trying to fish for compliments. But, the truth is quite evident if anyone sees my stomach. In these pics, I'm 100 lbs.

I can totally relate and am looking to get similar but want fat in the buttocks and maybe just a tad in top of breast only as I think I have enough in the bottom. I am actually a bit under 100lbs at 5'1 and 10 years older than you. My tummy was left behind by a weight gain caused by meds. Even though I lost the weight, I cant lose all the tummy. Even after kids I had a flat tummy, but that medication did a number on me!

Oh it must have been something like a steroid, which affects insulin and cortisol levels!! I would check out the Brazilian butt lift procedure-that will get you both a flatter tummy and a nicer butt :)

It was actually an anti-depressant but I was taking it off-label for gastrointestinal issues, not as an actual anti-depressant. The problem was I had to keep going up in the dose to get the gut calming effect. The higher the dose, the more I gained.

Have you ever consulted with a personal trainer to help you gain muscle which will help reduce abdominal fat through exercise and proper nutrition? You will look more fit and lean without losing a lot of weight or looking more "skinny." Just a thought. Good luck with whatever you decide. :)

Consultation with Dr. Thomassen

Muneera16
I finally went for my consult with Dr. Thomassen. He said that he could do abdominal lipo for me. I said if I am getting lipo, I would prefer that fat to be transferred to the breasts. He said that the cup increase would be minimal and an implant would provide a more predictable result in my case. I told him I am not looking for big boobs per se, just fuller versions of the ones I already have (like oranges lol). He gave me the quotes for both breast aug and fat transfer.

What quotes did he give?

Hi -- I just had this done a few months ago. I am also "skinny fat" and your pics remind me of me. I had about 2200 cc lipo'ed from my flanks, tummy and thighs and transferred to my breasts with good results. I would really strongly recommend that you find a doctor who understands this procedure and has done it before if you are going to make the investment (this site is a great resource to find one near you). I used Brava for 4 weeks before, and recommend using it to make room for the fat, otherwise it will stay for a short while, but then be quickly reabsorbed by your body. Also, the fat survival is very dependent on how it is removed (gently, with the right size cannulas so the cells don't rupture) and then grafted. I've read alot of reviews on here from ppl disappointed b/c everything melted away after some initially great looking results b/c their doctor was inexperienced. Anyway, I hope that helps you. Good luck!!

p.s. from 2200cc they were only able to inject total 375 into each breast and expected retention of about 250cc, which is about right now 3 months out.

for kqmill - I am guessing brava wouldn't be necessary in my case since I was almost a cup size bigger before weight loss and already have the extra room for the fat?

You might wish to consider Brava regardless - according to my research using Brava increases vascular development - essential in nourishing harvested and transplanted fat cells. I am also "skinny fat" and very seriously considering AFT.

I would look up Dr. Bed at in North Carolina. He's produced the best breast fat transfer results I've seen.

Argh, bad spell check. That should be Dr. Bednar
