Revision for CC done

WORTH IT$6,000
Ladies I have finally had my revision. The Dr. Said it was a lot more extensive than she thought. I had a lot of scar tissue. My 2 hour surgery turned into 3 hours. Oh my gosh this pain is almost unbearable. She warned me about it though saying she basically scraped the scar tissue like filleting a fish. I am glad we decided to use Strattice and I look forward to a speedy recovery (I pray) Any good tips for freshening up ( I can't shower while I have drains) or how to be the most comfortable sleeping upright. I will keep you updated on my recovery.

I'm so happy that you finally got your revision! I can't wait to see how they turned out! I am so sorry you're in so much pain! But you definitely know it's worth it! My first 7 days were awful! So I know by day 7 I started feeling better. But of course I didn't have any sort of scraping done on my chest, LOL! :p But I'm so excited for you update when you can! And hang in there! :* xxoo

What is this CC you talk about? And how can it happen so late after surgery? I've never seen that before, and they looked so adorable in May! Did you get charged for the revision?

Cc is capsular contracture. In may they were dropped and great. Mind you that was only 12 weeks post op. The next pic in my line after the pic with the blue bra (had on a grey shirt) is in August when they started to rise up and get hard. So I happened pretty soon. Some ladies get years later. Usually it only happens in one breast but because it happened in both of mine, we were extra precautious. I did have to pay a lot for a revision as I went to a new doctor and paid extra for collagen mesh sheeting to help prevent it from returning. My new review will follow that progress. So far they feel soft.

Oh, the dates on the post must have confused me, I thought it was, like, 9 months later.... thank you for taking the time to answer!

Revision for Capsular contracture

L
love2benewmom07
Hey ladies I will finally be getting my revision on May 19th. Please keep me in your prayers. I will be switching from 450 mod+ to 450hp I have will also be using strattice adm to hopefully prevent me from getting capsular contracture again. My odds of getting it without the adm were about 50% and with it should go down to 15% of reoccurrence. I will have drains for a few days (which I am nervous about). I will keep everything updated and I'll add a photo of my hard breasts now soon. Any advice, tips, or questions are welcomed. I had my 1st surgery in 2017 so it's been a while and I am nervous this go round as well.

Why are you changing profiles? The HP is more narrower than the Mod+ so your breasts may look a little more gapped in the center, meaning you'll lose a bit of cleavage. Check the stats of the implant like the width and see how much smaller the difference is. Also make sure you research your PS fully and carefully. I've heard a few horror stories about internal bras if he offers one I'd pass. I heard their painful and hard to remove later if need be. I wish you luck during your revision. Be very careful! Stay safe during this pandemic. :-)

The strattice is not used like the so called internal bra that some dr.s use to support larger implants. It's a collagen sheet used to prevent the capsule from being able to squeeze the implant. My implants now are 13.6 cm and the 450 hp are 12.8 cm. They are been more narrow with more projection for about a year and a half. I like having a less wide implant but I am gonna have her take in 500 hp (which is 13.2cm wide) as well and just take a look at my cleavage as well. I told her I want the proportions that I have now with breast size (only softer). I am sure nervous though and have been trying to find more reviews on strattice use.
