I wanted to feel whole again after a double mastectomy. From the first time I met Dr. Meade and his staff, I felt like I was at home. I have never had a doctor more attentive and reassuring. The results are absolutely amazing! I hope my friends never need to have reconstruction, but if they do I recommend Dr. Meade whole-heartedly. He made me feel like myself again. From the beginning, he explained all my options completely and gave me time to make the decision with my husband. I'm so glad we made the decision to go with Diep-flap even though it is a major, invasive surgery. My family, friends and my other doctors can't believe how natural my new breasts look and feel. His work is phenomenal! Nothing can make facing cancer ok, but he made it easier. Going from a B to a D and having the results of a tummy tuck from using that tissue to create the breasts is an added bonus!
