Waste of Time and Money

I’ll start by saying that Dr.Eppley as a person and all the staff helping him are very friendly people. He may also be a good doctor and surgeon but in my case the results he promised never happened . I saw him because I wanted to reduce the size of my head and he said to me before the surgery that he can reduce the size of my head by removing the temporal muscles both sides of my head. When I have asked him about how big the reduction will be in centimetres he said 2 cm but he got me thinking about his honesty at that point because he continued that I shouldn’t think about numbers, centimetres and I’ll see that my head will look a lot different after the surgery. Went on for the surgery in the end and after the surgery he wrapped my head with some tight bandages until the next day after the surgery . He saw me the next day after de surgery and after removing those tight bandages from around my head I have to admit that my head was looking a lot smaller than before but that was just an illusion, a trick that dr.Eppley is using to see his patients happy about the result of the surgery until they live his office. The reality is different: my head was looking different because that bandage he wrapped tight around my head for 24 hours kept the hair, skin and blood vessels tight against the skull bone and all this together with the temporal muscles removed made my head looking at the desired shape but this didn’t last long unfortunately. As soon as the bandage is removed the swelling comes in place and the head gets bigger than before and I am wouldn’t know the how my head will look like in the end . But now 5 months after the surgery I can see that my head size was reduced by less than 1 centimetres overall, which is nothing, unnoticeable. You can easily achieve this 1cm reduction (0.5 cm each side) by the way you do your hair volume and you don’t have to go through the hassle of the surgery. Luckily there are no problems so far with chewing and the only issue is that the temple muscles now got bigger as I suppose they were connected with the temporal muscles and by removing the temporal muscles, the temple muscles dropped and they look bigger now. So as a conclusion I’ll say that I have wasted around $15k, had to travel from Europe and go through a surgery with almost no benefit for myself. The other thing is that I’m sure dr.Eppley knew all this aspects as according to him he performed few hundred of this kind of surgeries and this put his honesty and his ethics at doubt. So if you have the same issue as I have just live with it as the temporal removal will make no difference.
