Intro:
I had a forehead reduction and brow lift — surgeries I’ve wanted since childhood. I remember as far back as 5th grade wishing my forehead could be smaller, and now that dream has finally come true.
Why I chose Dr. Richardson:
Dr. Richardson is one of the few surgeons truly renowned for forehead reductions. I spent over a year researching and following the work of all the top surgeons but he was always my top pick. I feel incredibly blessed to have had my surgery with him.
Consultation:
My initial consultation was thorough. Since I lived a few hours away we video chatted to discussed my goals, realistic expectations, and cost, and he even had me measure my forehead to aim for facial symmetry. Over the following year, I continued comparing surgeons, but Dr. Richardson remained the clear choice.
Booking:
When I was ready to book, his surgery coordinator Beth went above and beyond. I required additional medical clearance from my physician, and she handled all communication seamlessly. She was responsive, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the process.
Pre-op (day before surgery):
I traveled to Dallas to meet with Dr. Richardson for my pre-op. I was impressed by how detailed and attentive he was. He repeatedly emphasized that he wanted me to be fully satisfied and took his time explaining what was realistically achievable.
Day of Surgery:
I was surprised to have even met the anesthesiologist! I thought this was a very comforting addition to the process. He explained his side of the process and what his plans were to keep me safe. This made me feel completely at ease.
Dr. Richardson then marked my forehead, and before I knew it, surgery was complete. I was told everything went very well. Amazingly, I experienced almost no pain — I only took two pain pills the first night and then switched to Tylenol.
Follow-up (Day After Surgery):
I’m shocked to say that the results are beautiful. Yes, I look a little crazy (stitches, mild bruising, swelling, and antibiotic cream), but my eyebrows look wonderfully lifted and my forehead has noticeably improved in size. I’m already very happy with my results.
Staff:
Every staff member was warm and welcoming — every. single. one. I can’t express how reassuring it felt to know I was in good hands. I truly felt no anxiety throughout this entire process. It was smooth sailing from A to Z. I’d also like to note that I’ve had cosmetic surgery in Frisco before, so I do have comparative experience. My previous surgery was also a great experience, but this one completely blew me out of the water.

Highly recommend. I am one day post-op, so if anything changes, I will be sure to update my post. That being said, I will not be including photos or personal details for privacy purposes.
