WORTH IT
I've always been a bit self-conscious about my large forehead. I looked into getting forehead reduction surgery for a few years but was too nervous about going through with the procedure.
After researching online, I read great things about Dr. Sidle's work so I decided to see him for a consultation in May. I was elated when I found out his office was only a couple blocks from my apartment. His bedside manner and client portfolio impressed me.
After a few days, I decided to book the appointment. Unfortunately for me, his earliest appointment opening was four months away. I was planning a move within that time. I now live in a different state but I’m taking the time to travel back for the appointment. I’m going to stay in a nearby hotel for about 10 days. That way I don’t have to travel twice for the procedure and post-operation appointment (I have to get the stitches removed 7 days after the surgery). Side Note: I’m kicking myself in the butt for not looking into this sooner. I could have saved me lots of time and travel money.
Anywho, my procedure is in two days. I'm excited about the outcome but nervous about the surgery. I'll send updates throughout my journey.

Surgery went well!

I was extremely nervous the night before. I hardly slept. But one thing that helped calm my nerves was meditating and praying.
In the morning, I started to get more excited than nervous. I couldn’t wait to start this new chapter in my life. I took a shower, washed my face, and shampooed with Shea Moisture Raw Shea Chamomile & Argan Oil Baby Shampoo. I then brushed and styled my hair in loosely braided pigtails. I put on a button down shirt and comfortable leggings.
Dr. Sidle was accompanied by his friendly nurse and two trainees. The doctor and nurse turned on my favorite music, placed an IV in my arm, comforted me with a blanket, and got to work on the operation.
I fell asleep throughout most of the procedure. The operation was painless and comfortable.
On the way back to our hotel, my husband stopped to pick up some Thai bubble tea. I’m now laying in bed and resting. I just took my antibiotic, steroids, and pain medications. I am experiencing a dull headache but nothing excruciating. I haven’t found the need to take my ant-nausea tablets or Valium pills yet. I’m currently wearing ice packs on my cheeks to help with swelling.
I can’t wait to take my bulky bandage off in two days. I’m excited to see my new hairline. I’ll continue to send updates throughout.

Recovery was a bit rough
milgrlSeptember 8, 2021
About an hour or two after returning to my hotel after yesterday’s procedure, I started getting an unrelenting headache and nausea. I was able to drink a protein shake and bubble tea right before my nausea hit. I tried eating soup but couldn’t hold anything down.
Dr. Sidle warned me to take it easy for the rest of the day. He said the first day will be rough. Therefore, I wasn’t surprised by my sickness. My husband called Dr. Sidle yesterday afternoon to let him know my symptoms. The doctor adjusted a dosage in one of my prescriptions.
I’m pleased today to say that I’m feeling much better than yesterday. If you’re interested in this procedure, I recommend having a caretaker throughout recovery.
I’m still taking it easy today. I’m wearing ice packs on my face to help with swelling.

Thank you for posting looking forward to updates!! What was the cost? How do you feel?

I'm feeling pretty good. Thanks for asking! The headaches and nausea are gone, thank goodness! The incision site is a bit itchy and raw but it's not unbearable. The cost was $7,500 but prices might be different depending on the complexity.
