I had nothing but a great experience with Dr. Sidle. I had a Septorhinoplasty and I wish I did this sooner. From the beginning, Dr. Sidle listened to my concerns, gave me a full exam to check the structural parts of my nose and then addressed the cosmetic changes I wanted to make. He wanted to be sure not only would this be a good cosmetic investment but that I would come out of this breathing better as well! Dr. Sidle mocked up a rendering of what my nose would look like post surgery with me in the room and we discussed all the changes he intended to make. He took into account all of my facial features and made sure the new nose would still allow for me to look like me, just a little more refined. This took a short time because he is such a pro and the rendering was everything I have been wanting. When it came to surgery time, he and his team were very communicative before and after surgery. The recovery was not too bad, although I especially appreciated Dr. Sidle being "on call" for me throughout the entire recovery process for when things were a little more uncomfortable. Going into the cast removal, I was scared my nose was turned up too much but Dr. Sidle reminded me it is going to drop and that I was still in the very very early stages of recovery. When the cast came off it was a bit shocking, but I kept in mind that the nose would change as it healed and swelling went down. I am one of the lucky ones who had incredible results only a few weeks after surgery. 1 month out of surgery I loved it and couldn't believe it will get even better with time. I am now 3 months out and absolutely obsessed. My nose fits my face so well and truthfully, friends and family dont notice unless I tell them which is exactly what I was going for! Dr. Sidle has been great at the follow up appointments making sure to address any concerns (fortunately I have none since he did such a great job). I would highly highly recommend Dr. Sidle and his team!
I recently had the privilege of undergoing eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) under the skilled hands of Dr. Sidle. From the initial consultation to the final post-operative checkup, my journey with Dr. Sidle has been nothing short of exceptional. Having researched extensively before choosing a plastic surgeon, I was immediately impressed by Dr. Sidle's impressive credentials and glowing reputation. However, it was our first consultation that solidified my decision to trust him with my procedure. Dr. Sidle exuded professionalism, genuine care, and an evident passion for his craft. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Sidle and his team ensured I felt comfortable, informed, and empowered to make the best decisions for my desired outcome. The level of detail and clarity provided during pre-operative discussions was impressive, leaving me with no doubts or anxieties leading up to the surgery. On the day of the procedure, I was met with a team that demonstrated impeccable teamwork and organization. Dr. Sidle's reassuring demeanor helped alleviate any nerves I had, and his ability to explain each step in a way that was easily understandable was truly comforting. What truly impressed me, aside from the outstanding results, was the level of care and follow-up that I received. Dr. Sidle and his staff showed genuine concern for my well-being throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable, informed, and healing properly I cannot recommend Dr. Sidle highly enough. If you are considering any kind of plastic surgery, especially around the delicate area of the eyes, look no further. Their expertise, professionalism, and compassionate approach make them an absolute standout in the field. My experience was nothing short of exceptional, and I am deeply grateful to Dr. Sidle for giving me a renewed sense of confidence and a fantastic outcome. Thank you!
Dr. Sidle and his team were amazing. I had a rhinoplasty, septoplasty and turbinate reduction done. I can breath so much better and it's only been a week since my surgery. I'm also extremely happy with how my nose looks. I was very nervous going into this surgery but Dr. Sidle and his team made me feel very safe and listened to all of my concerns. I really appreciate how easy and smooth everything went from the consultation, to the surgery, to the recovery. One thing that stuck out to me was how Dr. Sidle was very honest regarding what to expect...no false expectations. Also he was my first rhinoplasty/septoplasty consultation and he recommend I go through several consultations to find what I like which showed me that he wants what's best for me. From speaking with him, you can tell he's very passionate about what he does. I'm very happy that I chose Dr. Sidle for this surgery.
Very personable doctor and honest with intentions. My nose looks and works so much better than before after receiving a rhinoplasty to straighten my broken nose and fix internal issues. However, I would have liked to be explained more to about how my nose is naturally off center. My nose after surgery is not perfectly straight by any means, which should be expected, but I would have liked to have known to the extent that it was going to be. This primarily affected my side profile. One side is super cute, but the other is much different. Overall though, his style is very natural and no one noticed I had even gotten my nose done. Totally worth it and I have no regrets going to him at all. Dr. Dean Toriumi is one of his biggest competitors, but I felt much more comfortable with Sidle and Toriumi’s style seems to be much less artistic. My boyfriend is also a caddy at the golf club that Toriumi goes to and he tells me he is known to be cheap lmao.
I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Sidle! He was incredibly professional, yet extremely personable. One week post surgery I had no bruising - and overall very limited bruising in the first 7 days. Immediate results that continued to improve week over week. I had no troubles following the surgery (i.e. any bleeding, difficulty breathing). He explained everything in an immense amount of detail and walked you through the entire process. He is surrounded by an excellent team. Dr Sidle makes him self available for anything that may come up post surgery and provides his phone number truly showing how much he cares about your success. On the day of surgery he communicates well with your family and you regarding expectations. He is also very prompt in regards to his appointments which is rare in the medical field. Would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone - his work is incredible and extremely natural looking.
I had a truly wonderful experience with Dr Sidle. He was extremely thorough in his evaluation of me and took the time to explain treatment options. He answered all of my questions along the way. My surgery went smoothly and I am now breathing much better. He and everyone on his team were friendly and welcoming throughout all of my visits with them. I highly recommend him!
I had a revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Sidle and I couldn’t be happier that I picked him and his team for my surgery. I had a nose job done elsewhere in Chicago with a very upsetting outcome that affected me mentally, physically, and emotionally. I finally took the steps to get a revision and through my research/reviews I found Dr. Sidle at NorthWestern University to perform my revision rhinoplasty. From the consultation until now (1 month post-op) he and his PA-C Erin have been accessible, attentive, caring, and professional. He has such a hardworking team, Erin is so organized and makes the day of surgery as easy as she can for each patient. She goes above and beyond to address any questions and concerns. At the first consultation, Dr. Sidle used computer imaging to help me visualize my possible results before committing to surgery. After seeing the simulator pictures of what my nose will look like post surgery I knew he was the one to perform my surgery. He not only focuses on the nose, but he takes into account your size, head shape, jawline, etc. so that he can ensure this nose job will be fitting for your whole. He explains everything so well in a way the patient can understand and uses the best analogies to explain/detail what he will be doing. He has a bedside manner that is empathetic and supportive. I appreciate all the time and hardwork from Dr. Sidle, Erin, and the rest of his team at Northwestern! My new nose fits perfectly with my face and looks very natural!
My experience with Dr. Sidle & his team for my septoplasty/rhinoplasty surgery was better than I could have imagined. Dr. Sidle is a skilled surgeon, artist and physician. It is rare to come across such a combination in someone with his talent, and it shows in the results and level of care he gives. From consultation to pre-op to post-op appts, I always felt heard, understood and never, ever rushed. He treated me first and foremost with respect and kindness. His assistant Erin was lovely, professional and excellent at patient communication. I am only 10 days post-op and I am beyond thrilled that I'm already breathing and looking so much better than before! This surgery was 20+ years in the making for me. I am filled with gratitude for being lead to this team. Highly, highly recommend.
I don't know where to begin when trying to explain how AMAZING Dr. Sidle is. It started a few years ago when I saw him on TV. He was a special guest on a talk show discussing his Botox techniques. I was impressed, so I called to book an appointment for Botox, Rhinoplasty, chin implant, and neck liposuction. Dr. Sidle and Awesome Erin walked me through the procedures using state of the art technology. I had the procedures. There was little to no pain throughout the entire procedure and post procedure. Thanks to the Dr. and Erin for explaining exactly what I needed to do to assure proper healing and being extra gentle when removing the bandages and dressing. Several weeks after the surgery, I was very impressed with the results of the Botox, chin implant, and neck lipo (I actually now have a defined jawline and projected chin). However, I was not completely satisfied with the Rhinoplasty. It seemed like my nose was now larger and the tip was drooping. I decided to leave it be for a couple years. As time went by, I was still unhappy with the Rhinoplasty. I decided to call and book a possible revision surgery to raise the tip and enhance the contouring. I met with Dr. Sidle and Erin virtually and they noted my concerns. He agreed with my request of a revision surgery and since he guarantees his work, he did it at no charge!! I couldn't believe it! Since Dr. Sidle also has amazing skills at Botox and fillers, I decided to get a round of that as well. I couldn't be happier with the final results of the nose revision surgery and the Botox and fillers! I will continue to visit Dr. Sidle for future procedures. Thank you again Dr. Sidle and Erin! You are both truly amazing
I am a male in my late twenties. I had a prior surgery intended to correct for a severely deviated septum, and reduce the size of my nasal dorsum. This procedure left me with a horrible result - my septum reverted to an even sharper deviation, and I basically could not breathe out of my nose. On top of that, the aesthetic was bad as well - my nose looked like it was drooping off of my face. Dr. Sidle was absolutely amazing. I am writing this review about 4 months after his revision procedure, and I can breathe better through my nose than I have been able to for as long as I can remember. In addition, my nose now looks completely natural on my face. I would without hesitancy recommend Dr. Sidle and his team to anyone in a similar situation - I had a truly life changing result.
The scalp is a particularly difficult area to reconstruct after trauma or a scar. This is due, in part, to the fact that the scalp is unique in that it is so densely packed with hair follicles. If the scar is especially wide, serial excisions of the scar can be performed to reduce the size, and therefore visibility of the scar. Once it gets down to about 5mm or so wide, it can be difficult to reduce it further with a surgical scar revision. At that point, follicular unit grafting is possibly your best option. Densely packing 100 or so follicular units into and around the scar can provide excellent results! However, I would urge you to seek the services of a surgeon experience with follicular unit transplant ion. Modern hair transplant is a labor intensive (but relatively painless) pro cress involving specialized equipment and specially trained technicians. To avoid a "pluggy" look to the grafts, be sure your surgeon is experienced in follicular unit transplantation and can give you the pros and cons to hair transplant for scars.
Botox injections can be a valuable tool in helping to temporarily restore some symmetry to a persons face when they are suffering from a facial nerve palsy. In my experience, some insurance carriers will cover Botox injections. We have had good luck with medicare. When we are unsure if it will be covered, we submit a pre-determination to the patient's insurance carrier so see if the procedure is a covered benefit.
