I recently traveled to Korea to get forehead reduction surgery at Girin Plastic Surgery. I first heard about Girin years ago through Seoul Guide Medical and remembered how highly they spoke of the clinic especially knowing that their CEO, Tony, chose to use Girin himself. That gave me a lot of trust in their professionalism and results. I also found several positive reviews and before/after videos online, which helped me make my final decision.
From the consultation to post-op care, everything was smooth and reassuring. The doctor listened carefully to my concerns and recommended a natural-looking reduction that would balance my facial proportions without making my face look too small. I appreciated that thoughtful approach.
The surgery itself went very smoothly. I was in and out quickly, and recovery was easier than expected. I was able to contact the clinic at any time through WhatsApp, and they always responded promptly. They even offered to let me visit the clinic whenever needed, which made me feel very supported.
The English translator was also incredibly helpful throughout the whole process from consultation to follow-ups making sure I understood every step clearly. It made the whole experience stress-free.
Another plus is that Girin Clinic is open every day, so it was easy to schedule visits around my availability. I’m very happy with the result and would definitely recommend Girin to anyone looking for forehead reduction or other procedures in Korea.

It’s been one month since I had my forehead reduction and eye fat grafting, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results so far. I’ve had several people compliment me and even say I look like I’m in my early 30s, which is amazing considering I’m actually 45! Hearing that has been such a fun confidence boost and really reassures me that I made the right decision.
In terms of recovery, everything has been going smoothly. The incision area has been a little itchy at times, which I understand is a normal part of the healing process. I’ve been very diligent with aftercare, staying out of the sun, keeping the area protected, and consistently applying the ointment that was provided to me by Girin. I’ve also noticed that my hair is slowly starting to grow back in around the incision line, which I think will really help with natural-looking coverage over time.
What I’m especially grateful for is the doctor’s approach during the consultation and surgery. I originally thought I might need a more dramatic reduction, but the doctor carefully assessed my features and recommended a slightly smaller adjustment. Looking at the results now, I’m so glad I trusted her judgment, it made my face look more harmonious and balanced. My overall facial symmetry has noticeably improved, and everything still looks very natural.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with where I am just one month after surgery. I feel more refreshed and confident, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how things continue to settle and improve over the next few months.
