WORTH IT
I am still getting a hair transplant to cover up. My white scar is not very noticeable, but it’s noticeable to me. Really hoping to find a good transplant doctor. I think I have found one. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

4 months post.I think these are my final results.
I have been meticulously caring for my scar for 4 months and I think these are my final thoughts. Firstly, I love my results even with a scar. I had a huge forehead. I do wish Dr. E was a bit more transparent about the hypopigmentation… he made it seem like it was a rare occurrence but it’s not and that is fine. I just prefer transparency. I will be getting a hair transplant so please be prepared for that cost. I am blessed that I can afford it. I would say if your a person of color plan for a potential scar.
Take away I needed bone shaving so for me I had to have a lowering surgery if you have a high forehead no bone shave just get a hair transplant from the beginning.
If you have good US hair transplants surgery for Afro hair please comment.

Yes it has grown so much since this picture was taken!!! I have never had alopecia. Just a big forehead so my hair is growing in well.

I'm experiencing hair loss around the incision. Around what month do you see your hair growth and did you use any oils? I'm freaking out.

Do not freak out my hair came back fully. Use rogain men’s from Walmart. With pure vitamin E oil from Amazon worked wonders

3/4 months post op
Hypopigmentation has me down 3/4months post op. I am still using silicone tape… started vitamin e oil. Tried latisse no results kind of frustrating last results are camouflage tattoo or FUE hair transplant
