Forehead reduction, eyes & eyebrow lift - now have alopecia & wonky scar

ORIGINAL POST

Destroyed my Life Actually for £9000

I opted for the surgery and was advised by the very charming doctor about procédures forehead reduction peel eye brow lift and upper and lower eye lifts .
Worse decision in my entire life .
My own fault for trusting someone who had no interest in anything other than the fee be paid in cash .
Sadly , I did not fare well as other success stories it’s a mess essentially . I would just advise others to think clearly before undertaking forehead surgery . mine was not the best shouldn’t of had it done with fine hair I have se ice discovered to be horror as I have lost a vast quantity of hair now .the eyes could have been better Not the cleanest of stitches
Chemical peel is the only thing that I see any benefit .

Eye brow lift bit of a farce and wouldn’t have even known . I’m loathe to post photos as it’s such a shame .
I accept that I made a mistake .sadly.surgeons rarely ever admit that it was not there best work . In this consultants case .as intelligent and knowledgeable as he is. It is with regret that I ever let him operate . He has not followed up any feedback except one line through his secretary saying it would be ok in a month . Well it’s not . I left Turkey with Mrsa
I now have alopecia . A wonky scar ( avoidable ) and have been unable to return to work .

I have also been considering those procedures, but - thank God - my dermatologist talked me out of it. Forehead reduction has been all the rage lately, but the truth is - it is suitable only for a handful of people with really large foreheads (and I mean REALLY). Look at the before and after photos (even on this website). Wonder why most of them show only the upper part of the face? Because the procedure shifts the focus on the lower part of it, which is why many people get a "neanderthal" look afterwards. If your problem is associated with brow lowering due to age/weight loss - why not try rebuilding what you lost first instead of going for an invasive surgery? I have opted for collagen boosters (careful! not all of them are suitable for the forehead - make sure to see an expert) combined with PRF (PRF works wonders for me, although sometimes leaves me bruised for a couple of days, but it's worth it). The volume above my eyebrows has been partially restored, lifting my eyebrows slightly as well. A subtle, but visible change. And looks very natural.
