I read the good reviews and had confidence that I would get satisfactory results; however, Mabourakh still managed to exceed my expectations from any doctor. I couldn't be happier. Also, everyone there is very friendly and professional as well. I wanted the surgery date moved to an earlier date if available and they said they would call me if such an availability opened up. Well luckily for me, it did, and they called and scheduled it. Now, I'm not saying anyone else will get an earlier date than originally scheduled; YMMV; but I just wanted to point out that they followed thru with what they said - that they would call me. Little things like that separate good from great.
I would highly recommend. Photos to come as I am still currently recovering and have some bruising.
Also, nice, clean, comfortable environment.
I qualified for CareCredit which is very convenient. Additionally, according to online research, with all fees considered, mild to moderate would cost approx $6,000 - $8,000. Considering that I live in California, I was assuming the higher end of the range. With that said, I paid what I anticipated from my research. I believe they are considerate of the money you work hard for and they will not do you wrong. With that said, it was well worth it. Doc definitely took his time and/or he is very skilled. Compared to other before/after pictures that I've seen on Google or other practice's webpages, what I am seeing from myself is probably the best example of this male breast reduction procedure that I've seen. Lucky me!
Before the operation, I received all the information that i needed and had all my questions answered. The doctor was friendly and patient. I received some documents which I think I misplaced some days later. I sent an email about it and promptly received the same information from a kind person there. Also, closer to the surgery date, I spoke with a different doctor regarding general anesthesia whom was also friendly and professional, and answered all my questions.
Operation day is not much to talk about. I arrived. I was put to sleep. Obviously, I don't remember much. I was handled with care and the pain medication was enough to make me comfortable - I was not in discomfort for very long.
Post operation, everyone was very personable and caring. I can tell the Doc didn't just have dexterous hands, but more importantly, a big heart, which was apparent when we talked. Even though everything was done and over, I felt good knowing that I was in such good hands. He answered all my questions. It was a great experience from everyone there.
I am impressed and truly overjoyed because I have always wanted this procedure for many years.
