After having feeding tube for 5 months due to throat cancer, the scar looked like a 2nd belly button.
Now after 6 weeks following surgery i can see that i will have a fine line that will probably be almost invisible. I am very glad i did it. Looking at the scar was a reminder of the cancer every time i got dressed.

Hello,
I have just had my PEG (feeding tube) removed after 3 and half months due to throat cancer too. I was a little shocked by the big indentation it has left. So has your hole closed up a now. I do realise this is a very old message but i would appreciate some feedback.
I hope your cancer never came back too.
