Excellent Results with Mark Weston

WORTH IT
I got the micropigmentation done with Mark and Mike (Michael Pichinte, one of his students) about 9 weeks ago. The experience and results are very good. None of my friends can even tell - that's how natural it looks. I'd gotten a (2500 graft) FUE hair transplant a year ago, and I needed to hide some of the many scars in the back, as well as redefine the front and add density to the rest of my scalp. The micropigmentation did just that. And it was remarkably painless. Mike did most of the work (which got me a discount from Mark), but the results were excellent. At first Mark was micromanaging Mike quite a bit, but after Mike showed his skill with the tattoo needle, Mark gave him leeway. Both Mark and Mike showed an ability to make the kind of microadjustments on the fly that are characteristic of those with a good aesthetic sense. After we drew the hairline where I wanted it, Mark made some slight adjustments during the tattooing that added to the naturalness of the hairline. Similarly, Mike did a remarkable job with the blending in different areas of the scalp by making some adjustments (to the dot placement/density) that actually added some subtlety to Mark's general guidelines. Mark's center in Florida is very comfy and everyone was very friendly. The part of town where Mark's center is located is beautiful, right by the beach. I'd like to have stayed a few more days to enjoy it, but it's also in a rich part of town, and the hotel (or "rental unit") is $220/night (at least in June), so I limited my stay to 2 days. All in all pretty happy with the results. I've experimented with different lengths, and (for me) I picked Mark Weston because of the permanent results of his patented needle, and because of his unequaled experience and longevity in the business. He also has integrity, which is currently a rare quality in the business of micropigmentation. From what I understand, Mike is working at the Weston center in Southern California, so he is also an excellent choice for those living on the other coast.? I'm including some pictures; some from before, and some from after the micropigmentation, and some from before my FUE as well. Mark recommends 1/16'' hair length (1.6mm) although for me it seems like anything from 1/24'' (1mm) to 1/8'' (3.2mm) is very good. In fact, a few of the pics I include here were after cutting my hair to about 0.5mm and the micropigmentation still looked good. Have in mind, though, that this is after the pigment has "cured" and acquired a softer look, which takes about a month.

I have been procrastinating on getting this done for the last few years. I did a lot of research I looked at many organizations out there many solutions, and I kept coming back to Marks Westons site. I realized that there are other companies trying to copy is technology, in fact there are other companies out there that are stealing his pictures in saying it's their work. This is to me a good indication that Mark has cornered the technology. The fact he has a patent on his needles makes it very different then any other Service out there. I met Mark about three years ago and had a consultation, I procrastinated until just this last weekend. I'm not sure why waited perhaps the fear of such a drastic change as I was wearing a hair system and also had some transplant scars, not a lot but enough to concerned me for them to be properly covered. Mark opened up the shop for me on a Saturday and we finished up on Sunday. I can say firsthand that customer support is very important to me in the way that you treat your customers is also extremely important. Mark was very professional open and honest about what I could expect from the procedure. As we all know there is nothing like Real hair it's very difficult to reproduce not only the colors but also the pattern of natural hair within the scalp. I have very fair skin in very find hair, and the color that I have starting to go great, at age 60 this is to be expected. Mark explain to me in great detail how is pigment would start off looking dark, "as it does" but over 3 to 4 weeks it would lighten up and start to match the natural hair I have remaining. The procedure was relatively painless, minor discomfort, of course with fair skin I ended up with a lot of redness and some swelling this is to be expected, but if you follow the procedure that Mark outlines to ice your head and not introduced any harsh detergents you are going to do well. The first night I used baby shampoo and iced my head for a prolonged period of time. This helped tremendously. I'm now three days Post procedure and I'm extremely blown away with how natural it looks. Of course it's not real hair the people from a distance cannot know that because of the fine work and artistry that Mark uses with every patient. I know there's some people out there that may have left Weston less than favorable feedback, I have to believe based on my experience that this is based on unrealistic expectations, again it is not real hair also you need to be patient and allow it to heal. Mark made it very clear that if the colors after it healed did not match to my satisfaction he would make sure that he touched it up to my satisfaction. I'm looking forward to the one to 3 months when all of the redness and all of the color Will be faded. Like I said after three days I look in the mirror and I am absolutely pleased with what I see it is so liberating to know I will never have to go back to wearing a hair system again. I simply we'll now have a new look and hairstyle and everyone I know willing time get used to it. Thank you Mark for your fine work your professionalism in for pioneering such an amazing process to help men and women that's supper from pattern baldness and other loss of hair conditions. If you're looking to do this procedure, my recommendation would be don't hesitate any further, the First few days art definitely the most difficult... But I'm so happy with the end result. Do not go any place else as his patented needle's in pigments make all the difference. You'll be happy with it provided you are realistic about the expectations given your personal situation.
