I am sorry this is not an actual review as of yet, but I would really appreciate if anyone would be willing to share their opinions and experiences with these two doctors as I am highly considering one or the other for my revision. I'm extremely torn between the two and hearing from others may help my decision. Thank you

I would go with Davis not frankel. I consult with both of them and I ruled out frankel. Davis is my #1 so far. But I'm being picky for my revision so I wanna see a few more

That there are tons of people who are happy with their revision results, I have never seen a doctor with as many good reviews, and he spent the most time with me out of any surgeon and I have seen 11, and I feel like he is realistic with his results and also his portfolio is amazing , and also I like his method of the initial healing process, how he has specific instructions for healing/staying overnight in his care and his follow ups, and makes sure the healing process is controlled because that healing initially is very important. What I also loved, and this technically stood out the most, that he went back and looked through his own work and will critique it and criticize his own work while he is next to you, I have never ever seen a surgeon do that . He will talk about what he should've done better, etc. Overall he has blown me away

I am very unhappy with Dr. Davis's work on my nose. Even his staff looked horrified when my bandages were removed. When I called in for another appointment, a staff member who knew me said "Are you ok?" I said yes and then she said "Really?". That says it all. I went with a small, nicely angled feminine nose with a wider tip that my husband did not like. I went in for a "tweak" and came out with a big nose that is bowed large, and masculine. I had an original redo date that was cancelled by him. When trying to make another appointment, he said he could not make my nose smaller, only add more tissue to my already too large nose. I think about this man every time I look in the mirror. I was such a fool to go back into surgery with a nose I liked for a "tweak".

I was curious and hoping if anyone who is on a waiting list to see dr Richard Davis in FL, if you decided not to proceed with your consultation and plan to cancel that you would be so incredible to let me know so that I can take hopefully take your date. I'm on his waiting list but it is so long away and I don't want to wait that long. I'm miserable.

That's to bad! He did my daughter's revision and so far , it looks very good, two plus years after. He used rib cartilage with her and only few doctors in the country are specialized in that technique. I know he does lots of traveling trying to teach other doctors how to perform primary rhinos so you don't have so many botched noses!! So many drs are taking to much or all of the person's own cartilage out and screwing the nose and person's life up. It is very sad and I am so happy that he is teaching the drs. how it should be done. If you can't get an earlier appt, wait for him!!! You can also go on cancellation list. Good luck
