So I have been saving and wanting to get this fat transferred from my stomach and love handles into my bottom. I don't really know where to go around here. I have read a lot of reviews from people and I am stuck on getting this done. I just don't know where to go. So far it seems people who are unsatisfied didn't get enough cc's put in or didn't go to a good doctor or half of the butt they paid for disappeared. How do I know I wont have that happen? What are some good questions to ask a doctor?
Someone recommended a doctor named Rick Smith in Lansing. I called and they gave me a quote of $4500.00. At first I thought that was a little cheap and we get what we pay for but when I look at everyone's price and how they felt after, that doesn't seem to be the case. I have less than a month to find someone. I want this done in between quarters at school. Even if I don't hear from anyone I do plan to get consultations from a few doctors and hopefully I find someone. When I get this done, I will post pics. Thanks!

So I went for my consultation today and was quoted $6,700. He suggested a horseshoe tummy tuck which is supposed to be a thicker scar but not as big across, lipo, and the fat transfer to my butt. Excited. I'm going to go for it! I went and talked to Dr. Colony in Lansing. Tuesday I fill out the paperwork for the cost. I'm financing it. The day I go in is December 14th which sucks because I'm going to be really sore for Christmas but the 7th was full. Wish me luck!

I don't know if your doctor told you this but my doctor said that usually only 40% of the fat they inject retains. Good luck !!!

I think his price was reasonable. Since I'm going to get liposuction and fat transfer I got it for a GREAT price. The breakdown of my costs;
Liposuction Three areas $2,800.00
Fat Transfer to Buttocks $1,000.00
Abdominoplasty $1,000.00
Opertating Room $1,050.00
Anesthesia $1,050.00
The mini tummy tuck is supposed to be the size of a c-section scar, which I've had 2 c-sections already so going in the same spot is like having the same scar.
He has a website if you want to check it out and see some of his work. He seems really nice and down to earth. He stayed and talked to me to answer ALL of my questions, which were a lot. I hope I get some great results. I'll post pictures a couple days after so you can see before and after and then post some later when I heal more.

He was really nice and actually did more than he quoted me for. He was only going to do my upper and lower abdomen, hips, and flanks. He did all that and my back and thighs. Very nice and professional.

Haven't posted in a while. I've been real busy between work, school and kids. I feel great. Not the butt I wanted but it's fuller. My back area still has some numbness to it but it's tolerable. It's just kinda itchy.

Hi, Im sorry if you have already answered this but i havent lookd through all the comments. I was wondering about how much of the fat transfered actually kept? Can you still tell a big difference from before even if some didnt? I was also wondering how they got your hips to looks so smooth did they inject some fat into the crease in your hip or did they just liposuction around it to smooth it out? p.s. you look amazing!

Well I can barely tell if I had fat injected into my butt now. It seems like I had nothing done to my butt honestly. The liposuction, I can tell. My stomach looks a lot better and I lost my love handles (which is great)! My butt is a little, when I say little I mean little plumper. Not what I wanted which sucks. They injected some fat to the sides of my butt to fill it a little.

Your pics seriously look amazing i cant believe you dont think your butt looks bigger, your 3 month after pic looks wonderful!! I have an appointment this friday to have the surgery but i am soo soo so scared that im considering canceling it...i have read about all the pain and horror stories and they seem to outweigh the good stories...i am also scared because the dr. im going to isnt using general anesthesia hes using local so i am afraid of being awake...i wanted to ask you if you thought that if i had some taken out of my arms that i would be able to return to work after a week (i am a waitress) because id have to lift plates and walk like a normal person lol (they dont know im getting the surgery.) I weigh 125 and am 5'2 so im also kinda concerned that it wouldnt really make a difference for me but i have seen other peoples pics where they have so i not sure...sorry im babbeling so much lol but im so nervous i would love some advice...im kinda thinking that i should get it...but you look wonderful and if i had a similar experience as u and looked as great as you did i may not be as scared lol

fresno...from your stats you sound very tiny...I think if you're really small to begin with...this procedure really isnt worth much...just my thoughts!...unless you have a lot of stubborn fat in areas you cant get rid of and it makes you look square..it may be worth it...but dont look for the change to be in the rare area but more so in the lipo...thats where it seems the majority of the change is visible...Savannah Stop!!...with your big booty!

I don't think you will be able to work in a week if no matter what. You'll be moving very slow. If you had lipo in the arms definitely not. Give your self at least 2 weeks before returning. I think I felt a lot better after 10 days to be exact. I was scared too. I can't say much about being awake, but it is scary. I was awake when I had my c-sections and the thing that made me feel better when I was awake and having the surgery is that you ARE awake. At least you know your alive. I don't want to scare you, but being asleep you wouldn't know what's going on. It was scary waking up for me and not knowing I even had the surgery performed! I tried to get up as soon as I woke up. Once the pain goes away you will feel as if you never had anything done, just that you having a sexy body lol. I do agree with SSN that you sound tiny. Are you sure this is what you want to do? It really does sound like you don't even need it. If I was you I would wait and at least try to put some weight on so that it is worth every penny. Sounds like you really don't have any fat lol. Either way, good luck to you and your surgery. Post some pics too :)

whats a banana roll? wellllll I finally SCHEDULED!!! omg im scared, but i want this done soo bad if i dont do it i will always wish i did it:) im scheduled for april 26th cause im moving. i really hope he does enough fat transfer in my butt!

lmfao The roll under my butt. Ya!It's so painful right after, but I was up taking pics 6 hours after. It really hurts when you try to lay down and get to a comfortable position for about 2 weeks and then it gets better. I was walking around the next day. Slowly, but I was walking. Eat a bunch of big macs so you can put on some fat lol. That's what I tried to do. Eat a lot because most of my butt disappeared.

How do u finance liposuction? Or surgery period? Also are u satisfied with your results? I want to get this done as well but am very nervous it will not last long or be uneven! I have only one child and want more, so am not sure if i should wait or not.

I went to my credit union and the care credit too, their rates are high though
I'd suggest you look for a board certified plastic surgeon in your area, and if they don't offer the procedure, ask them for suggested experts in the procedure in Michigan -- you may have to travel for this one.
