POSTED UNDER Tummy Tuck Reviews

Finally after 7 years I got my tummy tuck! I also added lipo to my back and a fat transfer to my hip dips.

Every week is looking better.

WORTH IT$20,100
Week 5 I finally tried on my bikini and even if that was the final result, I would be thrilled.

This is now week 6 and the swelling down my legs, sides, back and stomach keeps getting better. I still have a little white opening when I shower, but it turns skin color when it dries. Be patient and don't stress during the healing process. (I know, easier said than done!)

You look amazing! And you absolutely rock that bikini! Thank you for posting about your scar opening. I have just taken the tape off my scar at 3 weeks and I too have a few tiny sections of white and was wondering how normal it was. I would love to be able to soak in a bath, but I think I'll wait until the entire scar is absolutely solid. Congratulations again!
Yes I miss soaking in the bath so much. I'm also waiting until it's fully healed to finally do that.

Thank you for your kind words. :)
You look great! I know Dr S does a smooth tuck procedure what was the reason you opted for the full tummy tuck?
Hi you look great! How long did it take for the lower part of your stomach to go down!

Not infected, normal healing process.

My incision is looking better, but I reached out to the doctors office today to send them photos and their response has put me at ease.
I truly love this doctor and his staff. They have never once made me feel like a burden with my questions and they respond right away.
"Thanks for the photos - things look okay!
Stop using the butterfly bandages or any other type of adhesive, as they are probably creating too much irritation.
The little white area is the skin that is coming in via secondary intention - meaning the new skin is growing from the bottom up and sides inward and it can appear white/yellow as it comes in, so that's normal.
Just continue to clean the area once/day with gentle soap and water and apply a thin layer of Bacitracin ointment (only use Bacitracin, do not use triple antibiotic or Neosporin) and then cover with a Telfa or non-stick dressing. It will heal on it's own, but it will take some time.
If things worsen or you start developing severe tenderness or foul smelling discharge or fever, let me know."

Hey there! We had our surgery's pretty close together and I too have the same thing happening in my breasts. I went to my doctor because I thought I developed an infection but she said the white stuff (I thought it was puss) was normal. Whew! But just to confirm I was looking for other women who have experienced the same thing and so I love your post! I've noticed that one area will heal and then 2-3 more areas will start to form the white substance. Is that happening for you too? I had no idea how on edge I would be about healing:) but we'll make it to the six month date soon!:) are you enjoying your results yet?
Oops sorry. I got a new phone (android) so it's hard to use this app now. When I signed in it took me to an old account. I wish this app wasn't for Apple only.
Glad you reached out. It also makes me feel better to know it's a very normal healing process. I did have one other smaller spot turn white and now that one is closing up nice and the bigger one only turns white still when I shower, and then turns skin color when dry.

Yes! I am loving the results already and can't imagine it getting better and better. I will post a picture I took that the doctor shared on his insta to show how drastically things change even in 5 weeks.

Slight infection?

I think I did too much in NYC because I had a small spot that started opening up and now it’s turned into a larger spot. Of course it started oozing a little bit of white stuff on Friday evening after the doctors are closed. Luckily I have a prescription antibiotic cream on hand (Mupirocin) and I got some butterfly strips and put it back together. It’s starting to look better, and I will call them tomorrow if needed to see if I did everything right, or if I need to do anything different. Unfortunately I’m allergic to adhesives on my skin, but it’ll just have to deal for the time being because they’re keeping it together nicely.
