Fibroblast (Plasma Pen) Upper Eyes

WORTH IT$400
Today I had micro fibroblast done on my upper eyes. I was hesitant because the results on my lips wasn't what I wanted. It "worked" and many of the lines went away but didn't provide any fullness. I actually wasn't back to filler (and had filler dissolved above my upper lip. Anyway, the fibroblast. My upper lids are literally drooping over the bottom part of the lid. I look tired and old and it was depressing! My sister had an eye lift last November and she had some complications and although her eyes look fine and better, she didn't get the result she wanted and her eyes are chronically dry and it took her months to recover. We think the dr took a little too much off the top and they have that pulled look a bit and the scar where he cut is a bit wonky.. She paid about $10k for one of the "best" drs in Dallas. Also as a side note, I think when people are nearing 60 years old, all the eye lifts look a lot like an "eye lift" if oy know what I mean. I didn't want to spend that kind of money and didn't want to worry about bigger complications and just not sure I like he finished look that surgery gives you. I decided to try something less invasive to see if I could get decent results.

Back to the process. Thirty minutes of numbing. Then she began. I want to say the my esthetician is a woman that I trust 100%. She is passionate, smart and educated. I knew she knew what she was doing.

The procedure was not pain free. Certain areas were just more sensitive...and the smell! Gross. Something was definitely burning!! But I survived. We took one break because a section of my right eye was very sensitive. It took about 30 minutes total and I can already see a difference. I am swelling but I'll keep icing as directed. My eyelids hurt like they were burned (because they were!) I am off work until Tuesday. I'll post my progress every day!

Yikes! I feel like the Creature from the Black Lagoon! Scary! Yesterday I rested and watched Netflix. The pain was def manageable and I iced and took ibuprofen. I was nervous about sleeping because I normally wear a sleep mask but didn’t because I didn’t want anything to rub against my eyelids. I also normally sleep in my side but tried to sleep on my back and elevated so of course I didn’t sleep well. But I still one up to this which is fine but any plans to try to run out to Trader Joe’s today is out the window! :) I’m going to go ice and have a cup of coffee- I’ll post any reduction in swelling. The scabs have definitely formed. I touched my eyelids gently and they’re all crusty. And I see some swelling under my eyes as well.

Yes I'll keep posting updates because it's supposed to keep healing with collagen production for several months.

Whoa. I thought day 2 would be the worst swelling day but I was wrong! Woke up more swollen on top and bottom. The crusts are starting to fall off. I can feel them on my face when I touch it. I’m going to ice and continue to chill this weekend - def not going anywhere. My esthetician says I’m right on track. Have a good day all!

And thanks for the encouragement! The swelling has gone done through the day and my eyelids feel very tight. Which I hope is a good thing!
