Being flat chested my whole life was hard for me and very embarrassing. It was a battle trying to get shirts, bras, dresses, bathing suits, or anything to fit right...... I ended up having 3 children that I breastfed which deflated what little boob I had. My daughter, who is now 14 and also blessed with the no boob gene, challenged me to try on her training bra...... and it fit. That was my breaking point! Being a 37 year old mom I was determined to have bigger breast than my children.
I had my consultation on march 31st, I was so nervous yet excited. I am so thankful I found Dr Stridde. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable with him right away and so did my husband..... I wanted a natural look and didn't want to go too big. Trying on the sizers, we liked the look of the 350cc. Dr Stridde thought that was a good size for me being that I have such a small frame. Later that day I did it...... I scheduled my surgery for April 16th!
April 16th came very fast. I was SO incredibly nervous but the staff and Dr eased my fears right away. I just tried to focus on the fact that I would wake up with boobs....... a couple hours later and YAY I have boobs! I was in quite a bit of pain and oh so sleepy. For the rest of the day everytime someone talked to me I fell asleep in the middle of my sentence. The pain wasn't as bad as I expected. I heard all these stories that sounded horrible but it really wasnt that bad.... Don't get me wrong I was very sore but only needed pain pills for 3 days. After the first week I felt better daily. I just wish I had known that I would need more help than I had. Cooking and cleaning is difficult at first and over time becomes frustrating.
I now am almost 2 months postop and feel great. I still get a little sore by the end of the day depending on if I overdid it or not.....I was just given the ok to wear any bra I want, sleep with no sports bra, and sleep on my side! Yay! It feels so good to fit in a bra that actually has a cup with no padding! I fill my shirts out properly now and feel so much better about myself! Thank you Dr Stridde!!!

I absolutely love Dr Stridde, I am so thankful I found him. He made me feel very comfortable and eased all my fears. The office is really nice and clean and his staff is very professional and friendly. Everyone is helpful and answered any questions I had. It was a little bit of a drive for me but soooo worth it!
