WORTH IT$5,000
I am very excited to get these toxic bags out of me!!! I have been thinking about it since i learned i had pip's a few months ago. My goal is to feel healthier all around and to regain my energy level. I have chronic fatigue and flu like symptoms most of the time, aside from cold feet, eye dryness and ocassional palpitations, night sweats, burning sensation inside my breasts, headaches and dizziness among others...
The most important lesson i have learned is that God made us unique and we should honor our uniqueness.
i am very happy to have found this site as I do not know anybody that has gone through , so reading these stories gives me hope and make feel encouraged.
I will be posting some more soon...

Thanks for replying Relieved 2012!
How long did it take for you to start noticing improvement on your health?

As for the Anxiety, CHF, and chronic joint inflamation, about 72 hours after explant I was almost 100% better. Those get better everyday. As for me being calm and giving myself time to heal, as you can see by my review, I am not doing so well. Must not jump back into life too fast just because we 'feel' good. :) Give yourself time to heal.

Hi Health1st
I also suffer with CFS/ME symptoms and have done so for several years. I am having surgery on 24th Oct and hope that I will start to feel like my old self again after my implants are removed. I have read with interest an article by Dr Edward Melmed of Texas. He sates that implants can cause these health issues in some women and that many do get better after explant, he is considered an expert in implant removal. Don't know if you have read CJ's story & Jeena's story, they are not on this site so you would have to search on google but it made me realise that I want these things out of my chest ASAP. I feel like I have wasted many years of my life trying to get my breasts right and now I just want to get back as near to how I used to be. Good luck with everything and hope it all goes really well for you. xx

Hello! I have a diagnosed autoimmune disease and although my doctor has always maintained it has nothing to do with the breast implants i have never believed it...and then 1 month after explant one of the indicators for my illness turned to negative for the first time in about 8 months. So...coincidence or not, who knows.
Mine were pips too and i'm so glad to be rid of them! good luck with your surgery x

Hi Andi22, thank you so much for your good wishes, it's nice to know that you are getting well after removal. My GP and several surgeons have all denied any connection with implants and autoimmune illnesses. I just know that I started to suffer about 3/4 years ago but since my new implants were put in feb this year, my symptoms are so much worse and the pain in my right breast is getting really bad. Only one consultant( not a PS) has said that my body is probably fighting against the implant in my right breast and that the pain would be due to inflammation. I just can't wait for the 24th to come so that I can rid my body of the silicone.xx

I have the same symptoms. I am so happy to hear you're better. Your story encourages me. I can't wait to get these toxic bags out of my body as well. Thank you!

Today i went and visited a prosthetic lab for a consultation on breast forms. (They are meant originally for women who have had a mastectomy but by the look of things i will be left with barely any brast tissue...)
The experience was a good one ... Lady was very nice and helpful. Measured me and brought in some bras (naturewear) for me to try on without the prosthesis. Then showed me the breast forms which range in sizes 0 to 14 (so u can choose what size to be).
They are a little heavy and can get hot particularly in the summer, so is best to go with a small one. i tried on a size 4 in the bra pocket of a 34 c bra and fitted okay.
I am excited about this option. There are catalogs with lots of bras and breastforms to choose from.
Worth looking into!!

Hi health! I'm so sorry that you are dealing with PIP implants. I too want to explant my 'safe' saline implants, just because I hate them, the unnatural feel, weight, and now capsular contracture. However, I have the luxury of some procrastination, and I can only imagine the added stress of having PIPs and needing to get them out ASAP. You are a very strong and brave lady, and I hope your explant brings you peace of mind and improved health. Your skin looks great, youthful and elastic. I bet your aesthetic outcome will be awesome as well. Breast Wishes!
I'm sorry you're dealing with chronic fatigue and flu-like symptoms. That sounds dreadful. If you haven't already, check out GreenTemple's post about what her explantation was like. I hope you'll keep us posted as you progress through your removal journey!
