So tired of implants. Overall had a bad go with my saline boobs. I got them at the young age of 19. At 25 I had one rupture:/ at 30 I had a lift with replacement of the old implants. The Dr made them entirely too big because of fear of a loss of tissue from the lift. Within 6 months my right breast began to bottom out. 5 years later here I am! Explanted today and never happier!!!

What size did you have - how many ccs? Was the implant completely under or partially under the muscle? Thank you.

5 day Check up went well!

Went for my 5 day checkup and all looks well. I will have my stitches removed next week. Decided to put on a swimsuit from last year that I couldn't wear because it wasn't enough fabric to cover me before! I'm excited to say it looks good! For all of you explanting and fearing that they may never be able to wear a triangle bikini top again, don't worry!! [RS bleep]

Looking good lady! So happy for you. I saw you had 525cc, what was your cup size before implant? You look like you have a good amount of natural tissue! And being under the muscle, do you feel achy on the upper portion of your breasts? I am 2 days post-explant, feeling more achy on the upper to middle breast than I do on the incision.

I also had a majority of the capsule removed, and feel pain more on my left side (always the side I've had more pain on, so maybe there was more scar tissue there?). Hmm..

Thank you!! I was a b cup before my implants. It seems that I have more than that even now though, probably from having children. And yes I have had some aches in the upper pole area of my breast. Probably where the nerves are reconnecting. Overall my surgery was very smooth. I took half of a pain pill the first day and that was all I needed. Much easier than augmentation.

Great, thanks for sharing! Yeah I haven't had much need for pain pills either. I take one at night just to help me fall asleep, but that's b/c I am such a side-sleeper and it's hard for me to doze off on my back. I think I'll skip those pain pills today though!

Crossfitmomma, I am thinking about explant too..... I've had mine for 12 or 13 years. Anyhoo... I have some numbness in my breast from 1st surgery and nipple sensation has never been the same. Did you lose any sensation - i'm just curious. I would love it if everything went back to normal when I get them out but I think it's wishful thinking. just wondering.

I have actually noticed more sensation in my nipples now than when I had implants, but I was never numb in that area. I do however have some numbness in my right breast closer to where he removed the capsule and very curious if it will return over time.
