I had my first check up and got the tape taken off and my stitches removed! The doctor said they were looking great. So all good news and I learned about my new messages that I have to do 5x a day to try to start getting these bad girls to start dropping. I put my hand flat right above my areola and roll up and then push back toward my chest. It dosent hurt when I do the messages but usually they start having the 'zipping' pains shortly after for awhile and they said to expect that. I have another appointment in two weeks so hopefully some more good news then. I just the girls would drop!!! (:

I just saw your profile. I'm in the process of trying to figure out a size for me. Yours look great so far. Do you have any updated pics? I hope all is going well still

You're sure to love them by now!! That size looks great on you! How are you doing these days??? Your frankenboob gone now?? I think by week 8 or so I was done with that. The squares left first then the flat tops went next. Finally they fully dropped and began to fluff!! Yay. Now they keep on fluffing. They grew much more than I would have guessed. How's your process going?? Loving your new shapely figure??!?!?!? Happy healing!

How are they doing now?

I'm a retired PS. When I was an intern we met with breast implant patients for 30 minute sessions 3 times a week for 2 to 3 weeks to use manipulation to open up a pocket where the patient wanted it before the surgery. In most cases the implant would then go right in with far less recovery and results. After the procedure, we would continue sessions to work out the swelling and final position the patient requested. Also we used what we called a surgical bra which was a Jeunique bra now called Le Unique for 4 to 6 weeks after to hold the breast in place and further reduced swelling. It's a same that no PS to my knowledge offers these services.
In your case, with your PS permission, you should be able to use the same procedures to help and get a better final position and look if you do it in the next couple of weeks.

So today I think will be the last day I need any pain medication. I still have some random pains from where the incisions are when I get up or down but every day is a lot better. My chest isn't so tight today either so hopefully that's a good sign that they might start dropping soon! I also called the drs office this morning and asked about what kind of sports bras I can wear. I'm not strictly limited to any one kind and I'm excited to be able to venture out in wearing different ones!

The first three days...

The first tip for anyone planning on getting breast implants is to make a journal of all of your medications you have to take and make sure you stay on top of them. Thank God I had my amazing boyfriend that got off work the first six days!! I don't know how I would have made it thru without him!
