ORIGINAL POST
36y/o mom w saggy breasts happy with fat transfer treatment
WORTH IT$7,500
After giving birth to two active sons, one now 5 and the other 3, i dropped a lot of weight, and I went from a B+ to a A-(almost flat with droopy nipples) .
Decided to go ahead with the procedure at Amaris B. Clinic after consulting Dr Phua. I was told by the doc to be realistic with the results, if I am hoping for more than a cup size increase, then silicon implant will be a better option (which he will recommend me to have it done by plastic surgeons). Results from fat transfer are more natural smaller scar, but results wise, will not be as "impressive" as silicon implant. Dr Phua didn't try to sell me into doing the treatment, rather it is a very "matter-of-fact" kind of consultation discussing my options.
To be honest, it wasn't cheap compared to going to Thailand or Korea, but as a SAHM, I don't have the luxury to travel overseas to do it as I have to look after my boys. I am also concerned about the complications and care if I were to do overseas.
The breasts were huge the first week, and I can feel the tightness and discomfort on the breasts. The size went down a bit few weeks after. Few things not to do/to do after the surgery: no swimming or water activities and sauna for a few weeks, have to wear a well fitted bra. The scar healed well. Stitch was removed on 11th day after the surgery.
Dr said the fat retention may be only about 60 to 70% after the swelling comes down vs silicon implant in which the size is going to be there. I have the option to "top -up" and increase the size if I want to in future, but for now, i am happy to make do with my B cup.
Personal take: Not cheap compared to Thailand or Korea but worth it. Satisfied with the result. Doc is professional and patient, no hardsell. Friendly & helpful staff, went back for 3 reviews with my two boys tagging along, and they helped me to look after them.
