How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

I have always struggled with my tummy no matter...

I have always struggled with my tummy no matter what my weight was. I am 5'7.5" and currently weight 159; I usually run 150ish however after my third son I have struggled to get back down. I have three beautiful boys (7, 6 in a few days and 17 months) all born via c-section. I gained between 45-55 lbs with each and they destroyed my belly with stretch marks, loose kin, separated abs and c section scars with a lovely apron. I workout regularly, usually cross training or spinning, but I just can change my stomach. I have a butterfly tattoo on my lower stomach that now resembles a ninja according to my oldest lol. I am scheduled on 1/12/17 which is 4 days away. I am nervous but excited. I really can't wait to put it behind me. I have full confidence in my PS. I am nervous for the recovery with 3 children and one being so young. My sister is taking the baby for 5 days and the big boys will be kept busy with family and friends and then my husband is taking them skiing for the weekend so I can heal at home with a friend. I plan to watch lots of Netflix! I'm mentally preparing for the worst and hoping for the best! I have heard some say its comparable to a c-section and then other say its worse. I will post before pics in a couple of days.

Almost here!!

I'm so ready!! Tomorrow I have to grocery shop to stock the house, do a few loads of laundry, pack a few over night bags for the kids and get them off to family tomorrow night so my husband and I can grab some light dinner together and have some alone time before I'm out of commission for a bit. I have to be at the surgery center at 6:45 am on the 12th!! I already bought all the supplies I need (probably over bought) and have my recliner ready. I don't feel nervous at all however I'm sure that will change once I get to the clinic on Thursday. I'll post befores tomorrow.
