Just had my preop. Going with smooth textured silicone implants (Sientra high profile) even though the dr recommended textured. I went against the textured due to the link of cancer (low risk but I'm paranoid). I was given rice stockings to put in my bra to figure out what size I want. The office ordered 265cc and 285cc for me to decide day of surgery. I'm looking to be a large C, small D. Something natural looking but sexy. I'm hoping the 285cc are not too big or too small. I'm nervous because I dont want them too big. Surgery date 1/25/17.

Has your PS decided on the type of lift you'll be getting?

I think your choice of size sounds perfect. I started with a bit less boob than you, and am completely satisfied with the volume of my 300cc implants. I know that boob greed is a common phenomenon, but I have NO regrets on not going larger.

Best of luck on your procedure!!!

Thank you! I know he is doing an incision around the nipple and down the breast and another underneath the breast horizontally. How long were you in pain? I'm hoping by day 3 I'll feel ok to get kids off the bus and to be able to do small things around the house.

I don't remember the pain being terrible, but I did take my percocet regularly for the first few days. Getting out of bed was the toughest bit (because you use your pecs to help push up...if that makes sense). I had a friend drive me to my kiddos parent-teacher conference the first day post-op, and I was back to basic mom duties (school dropoff and pickup, snack/meal prep, short errand running, etc) without issue on day 4 (surgery was on a Thursday, so day 4 was the first day I needed to be back on duty!). The worst part for me was having drains...I was terrified that I was going to accidentally yank one out.
I'd guess, if you've got a fairly high pain tolerance, and there aren't any complications with your procedure, your goal is realistic.

Are you getting SO excited?!?

Wait drains? The doctor said I wouldn't have any and that the bandage is coming off the next day. Should I be worried??
Excited but nervous!

I don't think many girls end up with drains, I was just a bleeder in surgery and ended up with them. I wouldn't stress about it...pretty sure I was the exception, not the rule.

This time next week you'll have your new boobies. Yay!

Sounds like you are having a very similar procedure as me, anchor lift with 280 cc implants. I did go with textured. They are the perfect size and super natural looking. I have NO regrets! 4 weeks out and they look better and better every day! I am starting scar therapy patches, but am super impressed how good the scars look already! I did have drains, as a precaution. Took them out the next day and totally not a big deal at all. That worried me but better safe than sorry. I felt sore like I had a good chest workout, but no serious pain. I was up and shopping the next day, walking the neighborhood within 2 days
Totally off of my pain meds the 2nd day. Wayyyyy better recovery than I expected! Good luck!!

I hope I'm off the pain meds after day 2 as well. I have never taken anything except 1 Percocet after my son was born for the cramping you get. I'm hoping a smooth and maybe just sore recovery.

Did you start about the same size as me and got the 280 cc implants?

Yeah pretty similar in size and shape! I was wearing a C bra, sometimes even a D, but never filled them out. And my left was always bigger than the right too.

It will be great! And I really think you will be happy with the size of the implants you chose! A D bra fits me pretty good right now and that's plenty for me! Good luck and don't be nervous!!!

Did you think they were to big? I am already a C and also dont want to be more than a D cup, I am thinking 250cc, my doc is saying low profile, but I am thinking moderate. I might go 225cc, just dont know. What size did you end up being after? What were you before?

Tomorrow morning is the day! Definitely going with the 285cc. The #1 complaint to doctors is everyone wishes they went larger. Hope the 285cc will turn out what I'm looking for. I will post tomorrow! Oh also looking forward to the doctor hopefully removing my boob tattoo (16 yr old bad decision).

Surgery was at 11am and I think went well. It was hard to wake up from anesthesia I was so sleepy. By the time I opened my eyes it was 5pm. No drains. My heart rate was in the 130s and very dizzy and out of breath. Just seemed sore as far as pain. I was finally released at 7:30pm. I'm home now but more pain has kicked in. I can't take a Percocet until midnight so I took a diazepam to relax me. Tomorrow morning I go back to doctors to get bandages up and will post pictures. Used 285cc smoothed textures silicone implants high profile and they don't look big at all in the bandages. More to come tomorrow....
