WORTH IT$12,000
From the very first consultation appointment to about halfway through my 1 year post-surgery check-ups ,which I am at now and which are a part of the procedure cost, I have felt at ease with all of Dr. Bitar's staff and with the Dr. himself. Everyone is very courteous and professional. If you want the whole package come here. This includes the hospital and that staff if you need surgery under general anesthesia. I've worked in hospitals before. These guys are great. Now on to the best part!
I had extensive liposuction! Almost every area of the body you can think of was touched. The recovery was painful, yes, but Dr. Bitar was very frank about the recovery and things have gone pretty much as he advised from the beginning, And did I mention so worth it? The results are simply amazing. I am so very happy with how I look. It took me a long time to decide to go forward with procedure. As with most everyone of a certain age my metabolism slowed, and to add insult to injury I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism = crazy hard to lose weight. In comes Dr. Bitar and his staff. Again, I feel great! I can look in the mirror now and am happy with what I see.
The proof in the pudding was the feedback I got from old friends and colleagues at a 20-year reunion. Most folks hadn't seen me in more than 20 years. I got so many compliments! I think I was the one that was least changed in the group...thanks to a little help and magic from Dr. Bitar. The reunion was a hit! I couldn't be happier with my results.
If you've been thinking about this don't hesitate to at least make the first move with a consultation. You won't regret it. I certainly don't!

So glad you had a good experience...I interviewed with Dr Bitar but in the end worked with Austin Weston center as they had done work for me before and I had a comfort level there. But am doing revision lipo this week (1/13/16) and am so HOPING this will end my plastic surgery journey. Once the belly is gone, I will be happy with this body!
FYI - My TSH went from .23 the day before the surgery to over 20 in the weeks after...that's 1000% increase and my endocrinologist was very concerned. I should have been very tired and not able to do much, must less lose weight and instead I pulled off 30 pounds in the past 4 months. My TSH is back to normal...must be the inflammation or a myriad of other things that pushed it so high...and I am so hoping NOT to have this experience again...time will tell!
Best wishes, former NOVA RealSelf friend!

Welcome to the community and thanks so much for offering your opinion of your doctor.
It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.
Our community members especially love seeing photos from before, during, and after — a realistic look at what they can expect. Photos grab the attention of the community and encourage more support for you.
As a community manager, I get requests all the time from other members who want me to to keep encouraging people to share their experiences, which are so helpful for others considering these procedures. So please accept this as a well-intentioned request from thousands.
