One week post op today
Today I saw my doctor for my one week follow up. My right breast looks AMAZING!! However, my left breast, when he removed the steri strips had a blister surrounding my areola. It oozed a little and he told me there was no sign of infection but he gave me a prescription for silvadene to put around my areola twice daily. I'm freaking out a little because my areola is very scary looking and I don't want an infection, trying to calm myself down has not worked to this point. Trying to remain positive and remember why I did this! Anyone have anything like this happen before? The picture I'm attaching is AFTER applying the silvadene.
Day 2 update!
For the most part I'm feeling pretty good. The worst parts are the incisions under my breasts and where the drains go in. I'm running a very low grade fever, nothing to be concerned of yet. I couldn't be anymore pleased with how my breasts look at this point. I'm going about 12 hours between pain pills now because honestly the pain isn't as bad as I had built up! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
All done!!!!!!
I was released from the hospital around 1:30 and I feel fabulous! The worst pain is where he did the liposuction on my sides and where the drains are. I was hoping to be one of the lucky ones not needing drains but I'm just glad it's over! I haven't gotten to see them yet but they are so perky I can't believe they're mine! I have a follow up tomorrow to change bandages so maybe I can sneak some pictures. Thank you for all the comments and well wishes, you ladies are the best!!!
