She Can Make It Happen

Words won’t express She has brought me back my life ... my confidence . I was a very bubbly girl and I always smiled . I suffered from facial palsy after having a tumour removed . My smile was taken away from me. I wasn’t able to face people when I would have to drop my son off to school as I couldn’t say hi and smile . I couldn't acknowledge anyone . I wouldn’t go out because of seeing people’s reactions . Because of this pandemic I had to live with facial palsy for a whole year . Dr Tzafetta saw me and knew time was of essence and she put me down to have an operation ASAP . I was very sceptical, I had even asked will it work and she assured me it would . She didn’t have to do that as you never know but she was very confident . She gave me some hope to hold on . On the day of operation I was to have a masseter nerve transfer ..... not only did I get that I also got a hypoglossal nerve transfer ... When Dr Tzafetta came to see me after the operation she told me she had done two procedures to maximise the outcome of smiling . To hear someone say they have tried all corners to make me get my smile back made me very emotional and I don’t know why this stranger wanted to try so hard and help me ... but it showed me she knew what she was doing and wanted to give me exactly what I was missing ... From this procedure I was to get results from 4 months post op .... I started seeing signs of movement within two months !!!! It wasn’t luck it was because I had the best doctor.
