Mediocre Work... There Are Better Surgeons out There.

I had two major FFS surgeries with Dr. Spiegel back in 2006. I can honestly say he botched the first one... the rhinoplasty was a mess... truly awful, the chin/jaw was poorly done (and very minimal), my brow bones were uneven (and still pronounced) and while I had a low, rounded hairline before, he altered it to look very receded on both of the corners?!

I had always planned to have secondary surgery to do some procedures he couldn't do the first time and I will say he listened to my concerns and didn't charge for the physician's fee for the redo. But... his nose revision has left me with a very bulbous tip filled with scar tissue and nasal breathing problems. He very slightly "improved" my jaw but I ultimately had to go to another surgeon to actually fix it. Moreover, I specifically asked Dr. Spiegel if he was going to give me a sliding genioplasty and, despite saying yes (twice), he never did it (verified by x-rays). He did a fat transfer to my chin even though I never agreed to doing it (and it continues to create problems with the shape). I have uneven brow bones over my eyes and one of them is still pronounced. He might be an effective surgeon if you require very minor work, but I cannot recommend him and, sad to say, I regret having used his services.
