I am extremely grateful to Dr. Spiegel, Carole, Dr. H, and everyone at this practice. From the girls at the front desk, to the folks in the operating room, I was treated with nothing but respect and kindness. Carole helped me so much along the way with preparing for my surgery day and even with care afterwards. Carole has been so incredibly helpful and reassuring. I APPRECIATE you so much, Carole!

Dr. Spiegel is incredible. He has great bedside manner and is actually really funny. He's always cracking jokes and doing what he can to make his patients smile. He empathetically listens to concerns and addresses them with care. I am so grateful and honored that this is the man I chose to perform my FFS procedures. Also, the 10% off for military appreciation is huge and was unexpected. Thank you for all that you do, Dr. Spiegel!

To the surgery center staff, I can't remember everyone's names but a few stuck out (Michelle / Ellen), thanks so much for keeping me comfortable before and during surgery. Michelle was my nurse who brought a warm blanket and equally warm conversation. Ellen was the anesthesiologist and very kind. I appreciate each of you that had a hand in my FFS procedures. Thank you!

7 Weeks Post Op Update

AshtonPhoenix
Intro
I'm 7 weeks post op and swelling has mostly gone away except in the jaw a tiny bit.

Nose Results
While the side profile looks incredible... I'm a bit heartbroken with my nose... It's crooked and really bothers me a lot. I used to be self-conscious about the length but now I'm self-conscious about it being crooked and people continuously pointing it out. I think I had a slightly deviated septum, but it now appears worse to me.

Forehead Contouring w/Scalp Advancement & Browlift
I'll start with the good. My brow ridge was just two small notches but they really bothered me a lot and now they are gone! I love this.
For scalp advancement, my hairline looks to be the same or worse but with a permanent scar... Dr. Spiegel told me it can take 6 months for the baby hairs to start coming in. I'm not too hopeful...
On the browlift, I can't really tell much of a difference besides the fact I've had my grows plucked more lately.

Lip Lift with Augmentation
This is possibly the best thing I had done. It's noticeably more feminine and I think it is going to heal well without super obvious scarring.

Embrace (Facetite/Morpheus) / Mandible Contouring
It's really to early to say on this...

Responses from The Spiegel Center
I met with Dr. Spiegel at 5 weeks post op, and he stated that it can take up to a year to see full results on everything. He also said my nose looked fine to him. Carole keeps reminding me to be patient. She's very sweet, responsive, and reassuring. At the end of the day though, it's very hard to not get impatient when you're worried about possibly needing revision work.

Clarification on "7 Weeks Post Op Update"

AshtonPhoenix
My recent update is very uncut and raw. I was in a hurry and could have had more tact. It's too early to have a strong opinion. I will update again at the 6 month and 1-year marks. I'm very hopeful that all my concerns will work themselves out. Overall, this has still dramatically increased my quality of life in the way I'm treated in public. I'm very grateful. I'm also grateful for the 10% military discount that was provided. Totally unexpected and very generous. :)
