Amazing experience with Dr. Mayer

My experience with Dr. Mayer was FAN-TASTIC, that is the most humble way I can describe it. During our initial consultation he was stern and serious with me about the goals of my face as to make sure that even if I didn't go with him I would know do's and don'ts of my face. And he even asked me to repeat them. I really appreciated this, as it showed he cared about my results and didn't want me to end up on "Botched".

As time went on and I finally managed to get a new job with insurance that would cover my procedures, I became more acquainted with him and his team. They are AMAZING and SO HELPFUL. Keely was the biggest help, as she really busted her ass to make sure that my procedure was covered despite not having worked with my insurance company before. She was also an all around major help in breaking down costs and a good second opinion on all of the procedures I was getting.

The biggest thing I learned about this clinic is that they are HONEST. If you ask them for your opinion, they'll give it to you even if lying to you would make them some extra money. They care more about you and your future than money.

Now, all of the above is nice, but what about the ACTUAL surgery. That's what everyone is here for right? "Is it worth my time to go with Toby Mayer for FFS compared to someone else." The answer to that is YES. If you go on his website you will see consistently good cis-passing results, especially with older individuals which is already hard to do on people 40+ due to years of Testosterone damage. In terms of my surgeries, I had

-Type-1 forehead reconstruction

- Septorhinoplasty

- Small cheek implants

- Chin reduction and contour with a fat graft

- Thyroid cartilage shave

- Upper lip lift

My terminology may be off, but I think that's it. I am only one week out from the surgery, but I am LOVING my results. Despite having some pretty nasty puffiness(normal reaction to FFS) I cis-pass 100% Pre-FFS I had good "passing" days and bad "not passing" days. Now my worst days, I just look like a puffy woman. I did a lot of research before choosing my surgeon and narrowed it down to a few; Toby Mayer, Jeffrey Spiegel, Bryan Rolfes, and Kyle Keojampa. All of these surgeons have had some good results, but I've read some horror stories out of the Spiegel center that ended up making me turn my head. Kyle Keojampa has had good results, but his wait list is VERY long, and Rolfes is also good, but in the end I went with Dr. Mayer. I felt he had more experience, an easier to access website with consistently positive results, and his team were very proactive in keeping in touch with me which was a great help when I had a lot going on in life.

Some more details on my results, the most important thing to consider with Dr. Mayer is that your results will look NATURAL. Mine certainly do. I didn't come out of his office looking like a Barbie doll, or (ironically) like any of the Beverly Hills housewives. I walked out of his office looking natural. Like I was born this way. There is cis-passing and looking like you had work done, and there is cis-passing and looking like you were born female. Mayer does the latter. If that is what you want then I RECOMMEND HIM 100%. That's all I wanted, was to look female, and now I do! All thanks to this surgeon and his amazing team!

NOTE: I will be uploading pictures as soon as my puffiness decreases. I am happy with how I look now, but knowing that my face will shrink substantially over the next two months. I'd rather wait it out and post them later.
