Day 2 of recovery : bruises and soreness are dulling inmy face. The thighs are still very sore (sitting is uncomfortable on the bruises).
Day 1: Slept solid. Work up swollen.
Procedure day: I under estimated the intensity of this procedure. Healing time is going to be a few weeks. Quite intense.

Fat removal inner thighs
MelissaL1975July 4, 2020
The worse part of this is the inner thigh fat removal bruising and soreness. I cannot sit (especially not on the hard toilet seat). I expected my face to be sore, which it is, but I didn't anticipate my rear to be more sore. We took 10ccs from a combination of both inner thighs.
Oh and the numbing needles are the worse. I have a single stitch in 6 locations on my face and 2 badanges on my rear legs, not sure if it's a singke stitch there.

Can you clarify--you only had 10cc's of fat removed? And then that was purified and do you know how many cc's were injected into your face?

Day 3: I can smile without any soreness

Grocery store run success, lol. I have a few nerve (zingers) at times when I touch areas, and itching from healing at the stitch sites but no facial pain or discomfort today. Butt is still sore, lol.

I think you look great and it's only day 3! Did you doctor do micro-droplets of fat in the areas areas that she marked in purple? Did she say not all the fat will last?

I'm not sure... I think she separated the skin from the bone and used the single injection site.. I went a bit purple marker crazy on her after the Diladin. Lol

Your results look great! I am reading your updates with great interest. I am scheduled for facial fat transfer on July 23, and I am getting so nervous -- reading horror stories on RealSelf of procedures that did not go well with alarming results. So happy to see your incredible results! I wish I could go to your doctor, but I am on the east coast.

I agree!! I was scared as well because of the stories. My doc, Atagi, recommended this to help get the result I was wanting. I had to trust her because I had no idea what exactly I was signing up for. Luckily I have been seeing her for almost 8 years now and knew I would be okay.
You need to trust your Doctor... This isn't a simple injection... Unfortunately.
Don't read these bad reviews, ask for references from your doctor on this specific procedure... It will help you relax :)

SadieBee - I noticed you live in NE, too. What doctor are you scheduled with for your fat transfer? I've been researching a lot!

You look great! Did you need general anesthesia for your procedure?

They gave me a sleeping pill to relax and numbing shots. I was awake in the doctors office but numb. I won't lie, it was intense.

Were you getting fillers before the fat transfer? My under eyes are so crinkly (had a bleph 13 years ago when I was 30) and think he took out too much fat. I want to address the hollowness and laxity - but have been scared to get under eye fillers (based on some doctors recommendation)... but am hating the crinkling (botox does not work under the eye) and feel my eyes age me! You look amazing!
