Now have weird lumps in my temples & they are still hollow

I had a fat transfer here about a year ago and wanted to wait for everything to settle before posting a review.

I decided to have a fat transfer mostly in my temples bc I have had hollow ones most of my life. I did some research and settle on traveling here bc it was one of the few places that I found who had fat transfer pictures on their site.

The cost was about $7000 and after a year it was not worth it. I now have weird lumps in my temples and they are still hollow. They also added fat to my cheeks and chin (none of which I asked for or thought I needed). My cheeks were already really full and now my face has such a weird shape to it.

After the procedure I let them know there were some lumps so I came back a few months later for a touch up with fat I had leftover. This was the most painful experience of my life and it did not help with the lumps at all.

They didn’t offer any help afterwards so I just waited hoping my body would end up absorbing some of the fat which might make the lumps disappear. But it doesn’t look like that is going to happen.

I wish I would’ve just stayed away and done nothing. I wouldn’t have spent $7000 to still have hollow temples but now they’re hollow with lumps. And cheeks that are too big for my face.

Another weird thing was the office told me I had to have something there to take me home after the procedure. Bc of this my husband flew there with me and came to the office the morning of. The office would not let him wait in the waiting room for me. My procedure wasn’t a long one- I think it took like an hour total, but they told him he could walk to Starbucks (which was a mile away) and sit there because he couldn’t stay in the waiting room. Looking back this feels very sketchy to me and definitely a red flag.

The nurse who was there during my procedure was very sweet though and held my hand for me when I was nervous. But overall I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I wanted to add a better before and after picture to show what I was the most unhappy with- the cheek area (which was not an area I wanted or requested to do fat transfer into). Although my weight is exactly the same in the two pictures I look heavier in the after bc of the fat transfer to my cheeks.

I know some doctors believe that filling every area up is the style, that is not what I wanted. I would've been disappointed with how the temples turned out regardless because as you can see not much stayed and there are lumps so $7000 for that was pointless, but to add so much fat to my cheeks- an area I never mentioned being unhappy with- is why I wouldn't recommend this office.

Before picture. This picture was taken just a month or two before the procedure. You can really see how much bigger my cheeks are. I look so much heavier and rounder- not at all the look I was going for. I only wanted my temples filled out. Looking back my before looks 100 times better than my after which is such a bummer. And trying to remove fat thats been transferred to that area is so hard and not recommended so nothing I can do to fix it.
