Fat Transfer to Cheeks

UPDATED FROM Hv08jkr37

Dr. Mustoe is the best!

A month later I love how my cheeks look! I’d do it in a heartbeat again, if a person is willing to make it through the discomfort phase in the first week, long term this is much better and more natural than fillers!

hi! how you doing? may I ask how much fat did it stay so far?
Probably 40% of it got reabsorbed, but I still look way better than before so I am happy. I will wait another year before I go for a touch up if needed.
Your results look wonderful
How is your fat survival at this time? I think it looks great!

Fat Transfer to Cheeks

I’ve already had my eyes done by doctor Mustoe, and since I loved the outcome and I trust his judgement, I decided to go to him again. It’s only day 2, but I love how I look and I hope the fat stays (I’ll update the review in a month). I haven’t bruised at all, which surprised me. I did use arnica gel and I follow a strict diet, but I expected more bruising to be honest. Maybe it’s because I’ve only had fat transferred to my cheeks (I considered tear trough at some point, but gave up since I hoped that elevated cheeks could somewhat fix that problem). My thighs are still sore, but no bruising there either. I apply ice regularly to my donor spot and massage with arnica gel, but so far it looks like a mosquito bite. I read somewhere that it gets worse on days 3 and 4, but who knows… I didn’t put ice on my face though, I’ve only let cold water run over it for 3minutes every hour when I’m awake. When I am asleep, I keep my pillows elevated. All of these things must have helped with bruising being minimal, and I was sleeping a lot, but what probably had the biggest impact was the fact that I only did my cheeks and nothing else, so I didn’t require as much fat taken out in the first place…

Hello! I was looking at this doctor. How much did you pay?
2000$ just for cheeks
2000$ just for cheeks...
Wow, this looks great! How are you doing now? Did you retain the fat?
Sorry, I just now saw your most recent update. That is great! Please keep us posted as time goes on!
