A fabulous doctor and amazing results!

I wanted to add a bit of detail about the procedure itself. I was nervous about the procedure because I'm more than a bit of a wimp - I almost passed out the first time I hade Restylane. I was given a valium and a pain pill an hour before the procedure, and numbing cream was liberally applied. I was awake, of course, for the whole procedure and chatting with Dr. Reichel and her team. The harvesting was much easier than I had anticipated, no pain involved at all. The fat injections were no more difficult than having filler injected (and I didn't pass out.) Dr. Reichel had told me to expect some swelling and bruising afterwards, but I had very little of either. A little bit of bruising under my eyes that lasted for about a week. A small amount of swelling, but really not bad at all. My face was a bit tender for a few days, but no real pain involved. The worst part for me was having to sleep at an incline. That was recommended for 2-3 nights, and I went for 3. I'm usually a side sleeper, though, so that was really necessary. I had no pain from the fat harvest, just an odd kind of sensation that let me know that I had had something done. I wore Spanx for three weeks afterwards; 2-3 weeks had been recommended, and I went for the most time just to be safe. The results of the facial fat transfer were fabulous. I had a second round of fat injections three weeks ago, since some of the fat had been absorbed and I felt like it needed topping up. I'll continue to top up as needed, and hope that enough of the fat will remain to give me long lasting results.

Dr. Reichel is amazing! Obviously, she's incredibly well qualified and has years of experience, but in looking for a doctor for cosmetic procedures, it seems to me that it's equally important to find someone with an artist's eye. That's Dr. Reichel.

Dr. Reichel knows exactly what will enhance your look, while looking completely natural, only better! I recently had a fat transfer procedure and couldn't be happier with the result. At the follow-up appointment, I was thrilled with the before and after photos.
