WORTH IT
I had the privilege of working with Dr. Chatta for my facial fat transfer, and I am so glad I chose him. I’m 35, and over the last few years I started noticing significant volume loss in my face. Before deciding on fat transfer, I spent thousands of dollars trying just about every “latest and greatest” option for facial volume fillers, Sculptra, PRF EZ Gel, and more. Unfortunately, none of them gave me the natural, lasting result I was looking for, and by the time I added up what I had spent, I was getting close to the cost of a facial fat transfer anyway.
After doing a ton of research, I finally decided to pursue facial fat transfer. I was honestly nervous because I have several friends who have had it done elsewhere and were disappointed with either their results or how little of the fat seemed to last. That was probably my biggest concern going into this.
Dr. Chatta completely exceeded my expectations.
From the very beginning, he and his staff made the entire process incredibly easy. He answered every question and concern I had without hesitation and never made me feel rushed. The procedure itself was surprisingly easy and essentially painless for me, and I had almost no bruising afterward. I did take Arnica for a week beforehand and avoided alcohol for eight days prior, which may have helped as well.
What has impressed me most is that my results continue to look better and better as the weeks go by. The change is natural enough that people aren’t asking what procedure I had instead, friends and family keep complimenting me and asking what I changed about my skincare routine. That was exactly the kind of result I wanted: refreshed, youthful and natural without looking “done.”
His aftercare was just as impressive. Dr. Chatta personally followed up with me the day after surgery and even gave me his cell number in case I had any questions or concerns. Whenever I reached out, he was extremely responsive. I never felt like I was on my own during recovery.
I researched facial fat transfer extensively before having it done, and I’ve continued researching it afterward. One thing that became very clear to me is that fat grafting is not simply about taking fat from one area and putting it into another. How the fat is harvested, processed, handled, timed, placed, and distributed all matter. The amount and location of the fat have to be incredibly precise. It truly is both a technical skill and an art.
Dr. Chatta has both.
I give him all the credit for how beautiful and natural my results are. Choosing the right surgeon makes an enormous difference with facial fat transfer, and without hesitation, Dr. Chatta will be the person I trust with any future facial procedures.
