Fat transfer for asymmetry and volume loss - gave me my smile back

On December 2nd I had a facial fat transfer procedure to correct extreme asymmetry and volume loss to my face. My upper cheeks were extremely deflated. I had no self esteem and became very depressed. For me, facial fillers were not the answer, and I was super worried facial fat transfer would give me a "fat" face. Doctor Donath is truly an artist and was able to correct the deflation and define my cheek bones. He listened to my concerns and took a conservative approach not to give me the "fat" face I was so worried about having. It's better to have a little less than too much... To anyone reading this and considering this procedure- Please do your research and make sure your surgeon knows how to perform the procedure and genuinely listens to your concerns. I can't stress this enough. You can always put more fat in with a retouch. Dr Donath is truly an artist and he gave me my smile back. For that I will forever be grateful!
